“As you’d expect within an army of zealots, there are plenty of Priests to chant these hymns. From the Dialogus and the humble Missionary to the awesome Dogmata, you’ll have no trouble finding someone to lead the chorus. With six hymns to choose from, you’ll be humming these tunes long after another glorious victory for the Emperor.”

Today we’re getting a look at two different hymns for two very different occations. First up, the Catechism of Repurgance:

6’s to hit on your bolt weapons auto wound! And if it’s under half range it’s an extra 1 Armor Penetration. That’s a chant anyone in the Imperial Army can get behind – too bad it only applies to Adepta Sororitas Core, Characters within 6″ of  Priest. Not too shabby at all.

The next song of battle is a bit more defensive in nature. It’s the Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude:

Interestingly enough, this has a different set of eligible units. The impact it makes can be pretty potent as it basically turns off psychic powers affecting those units. Nice!

The Emperor Protects! And when you join along in song, apparently, that makes it even better. Get ready for some vocal accompaniment alongside those Exorcists, folks – the Sisters and their choir are about to start playing a concert on the tabletop.

“Now playing in the key of BOOM!”

What do you think of these new abilities? What else do you think the Adepta Sororitas are going to pull out of their codex?
