It looks like we may see a shift in this edition that allows for larger units of base troops.

Hey folks,

We discuss the virtues or min squads vs max squads and everything in between.  We try to figure out if the game is pushing us in one direction or the other.

Are big units the best?  We jump right into a discussion about what the best unit size is and how that may influence your play style and secondary choices.   With the way, Sisters and Ad Mech have gotten larger troop unit sizes we also speculate a little bit on what might happen with the Guard.

I think we come down on the side of larger units there is a big case to be made for transports and how their use may influence the squads you ultimately take.

After the break, we talk about the real-world concerns and implications surrounding team tournaments.

Most of us on the show have a lot of experience with these types of events.  We speak about the obstacles that you may not ‘think’ you have to worry about but can greatly contribute to your overall success during these weekends.

Team Tournament contenders need to get good at logistics, HR, project management, and a list of other tasks but even though there are weighty words why is this so fun?  Ha!

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but you will see that in the first few episodes, we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record, and I hope they help pass the time for you. Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome. Ordering a set is a good way to support one of our sponsors AND the show. Find them here.
