The Adepta Sororitas are getting a new Combat Patrol box. So how does it stack-up price wise?

There’s yet another combo box with the Sisters of Battle inside. But this one is a brand new Combat Patrol and now that we know the price point, let’s break it down and see where it lands on the pricing break down scale.

via Warhammer Community

“With 26 miniatures, including a Canoness, Rhino, Penitent Engine, three Arco-flagellants, four Sisters Repentia, a Repentia Superior, five Seraphim, and 10 Battle Sisters, you’ll have plenty of units to start or boost your force.”

The Breakdown

Canoness – $35

Rhino – $60

Penitent Engine (1) – $30(?) Normally comes in a box of 2 for $60

Repentia Squad (4) with Repential Superior – $25(?) – Normally comes in a box of 10 for $50

MSRP Total: $265

Combat Patrol Price: $140

Savings: $125

With that savings you can basically by the other 1/2 of those boxes! But seriously this is a pretty steep discount. It’s also the only place to get a few of these units from GW currently as they sold out on the GW site.

Looking at you Adepta Sororitas Rhino…

This does beg the question “are these sold out because they got pulled and reboxed in the Combat Squad or not?” But that’s not really the point. The Sisters of Battle are getting a great new Combat Patrol Box that’s going to be a perfect place to dive in if you want to start a new Sisters Army or if you just wanted to dabble a bit.

This really is a fairly well rounded Combat Patrol and it also doesn’t have any unique characters that you can only take one of. That alone makes it worth another look if you’re wanting to expand an existing army.

It would have been cool to see some of the newer units included but the Combat Patrol boxes are sort of mainstays for the army anyhow – you can’t really go wrong with another HQ and some basic troopers, amirite?!

That’s a pretty steep discount vs the MSRP – what do you think of the new Combat Patrol box?
