Games Workshop really kicked it up a notch with Blood Bowl’s newest team – the Skull-tribe Slaughterers!

Ever since Blood Bowl was relaunched, the new sculpts have been pretty great in general. However, this new Khorne-themed Blood Bowl Team really takes that redesign up to a new level. These models are impressive looking. This is a team that’s ready to bring the BLOOD back to Blood Bowl!

“If you thought it would be impossible for a team to be EVEN MORE VIOLENT than the Norse, the Orcs, or the Black Orcs, think again. The Skull-tribe Slaughterers are devotees of Khorne, which means a whole new level of brutality. Not just any old brutality, mind – the kind that gives even the most hardened apothecary nightmares.”

That’s a good looking team! Let’s get in closer for a bit more of the details here.

The new team consists of 12 members in the box. You’ll have 6 Bloodborn Marauder Linemen:

Followed up with 4 Bloodseekers who are “Berserk Champions of the Blood God” and are rocking some very Khornate helms:

And then finally we get a pair of Khorngors! These are Beastmen – Bestigors in fact. They have been marked by Khorne and are bit of a curve ball for this team. Check out that wicked-looking grin:

I really like this team’s design! Just as a Blood Bowl Team, these models have some great poses and cool armor that make them at home on the pitch. That said, I could EASILY see hobbyists taking these models and adding in some weapons to make them fit on the battlefields of Age of Sigmar or Warhammer 40,000. These models are BEGGING to get converted! They would be amazing looking Khorne Chaos Cultists if nothing else.

You can also bet that GW has plans for a whole bunch of team accessories to go along with them. I can’t wait to see their pitch, dice and team cards, too! This team is just bloody cool!

I wonder what their team cheer will be? Oh wait…yeah. I got it.
