‘The Matrix: Resurrections’ Character Posters Feature Neo, Morpheus, and More
Neo & Trinity return in The Matrix: Resurrections posters. Take a look at the new characters they’re fighting with and against.
Thomas Anderson is living an average life, although he seems to have some sort of amnesia. He’s plagued by strange memories and he doesn’t feel like he fits into the world around him. And he’s thrust back into the duality of his existence when a young man offers him a red pill and asks if he wants to know the truth.
The trailer reveals familiar things, new faces, and a new threat that calls Neo back to the Matrix.
Director Lana Wachowski told Variety “… many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”
Those friends include Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith, who are reprising their roles from the original trilogy. They’re joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Brian J. Smith, Jonathan Groff, and more.
