Games Workshop has an opportunity for you to win an entire year of Warhammer products. Are you prepared for this?

Nope, that’s not hyperbole. Games Workshop really is going to be running a contest where you can win 2022’s Warhammer releases. How can you win and what’s the fine print? Let’s take a closer look.

via Warhammer Community

“You read that headline right. In 2022, we’re offering two lucky people the chance to win one of every plastic Games Workshop model kit, every Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar supplement, and every Black Library novel that we release during the year. Every box. Every miniature. Every book.*”

*caveat 1 “Limited editions, collectors editions, army launch boxes, exclusive releases, and Forge World releases are excluded.”

Still, that’s a pretty amazing prize! So how DO you win?

“Entering couldn’t be simpler – every £10 spent on the Games Workshop webstore between now and 11:59 pm GMT on Saturday the 1st of January grants you one entry, and you can enter as many times as you want.**”

I’m liking these rules so far and Games Workshop has a handy graphic to illustrate the point:

**What’s the second caveat? “Not available in all countries and territories due to local competition rules. “ Which means there are Terms and Conditions. Let’s see who’s out:

You must be 18 to enter and it looks like the residents of the following places are out:

  • US States of Florida, New York, and Rhode Island
  • Australian Territories of Australian Capital Territory (ACT), New South Wales, Northern Territory and South Australia.
  • Quebec
  • Ireland
  • Italy

Also it’s void where prohibited by law (duh). Trade accounts or employees of GW (and their families) are also out, too.

You can also enter for free if you live in the US, Canada and Northern Ireland (applicable eligibility requirements still withstanding) with one entry per person. You’ll need to fill out a form and check all those Terms and Conditions.

Also, because not everyone is using £ here’s a quick reference for the currency conversion:

There’s basically two pools of winners here. But if you really care about all that stuff, check those T’s & C’s already. But if you were just looking to make some purchases this holiday season, maybe consider your spending thresholds and get in an extra entry or two. You were gonna buy the stuff anyway, right? Might as well get a chance at frankly RIDICULOUS amount of Warhammer stuff. I found this to be a little funny:

Not even GW is sure of the TOTAL value for the products coming next year! But even on the low end, that’s…a LOT of plastic.

Good luck!
