LEGO: New Batman Arkham Asylum Comes With 10 Famous Inmates, Adorable Explosive Penguins
The cells of LEGO’s new Batman Arkham Asylum are packed with members of the Rogues Gallery and little details fans will love.
Arkham Asylum is the most iconic location in Gotham just behind the Batcave. It’s where the most insane and dangerous members of Batman’s Rougues Gallery end up… and escape from. The institution is notorious for it’s bad security, corrupt administrators and guards, and high number of repeat offenders like The Joker.
LEGO Arkham Asylum
This isn’t the first LEGO Arkham set, but it is the biggest with 1,325 more pieces than the last full featured set that came out in 2017.
The building spilts into three parts—first floor, second floor and roof—and includes removable elements to make its interior accessible. Inside you’ll find opening/closing prisons cells with custom decoration based on who is occupying it, a guard station with monitor, and plenty of little details and accessories. There’s even an inmate delivery van. And if you’re a fan of applying stickers, boy howdy is this your set. It has 65 of them.
Minifigs include Batman, Batwoman, Robin, and a who’s who of the Rogues Gallery all with transparent stands for dynamic displays.

Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile
The first design seen in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939) was a bright red coupe with a long, reinforced hood and running boards. It took a lot of design cues from the Cord 812 and Bugatti Type 41. The red didn’t last long. The car was redesigned for the comics in the early 1940s when the stealthy black we see today was adopted.
This LEGO Batmobile set is on the smaller size, but it still captures the Batmobile from the series and the classic comics.
