Steamforged Games: P3 Paints Wave 2 Crowdfunding Campaign Launches Today
Steamforged Games brought back P3 Paints and the second wave is coming today! Get ready to back this one on Gamefound.
Earlier this year I got my shipment of P3 Paints from Wave 1. I was a backer because I was a big fan of the old paint line. I’ve said it before but Thamar Black is my favorite black paint out there. When I got the paints they pretty much exactly as advertised. So that worked out quite well.
Again, just to be clear, this was not a sponsored thing. I paid for the starter set with my own money because I wanted these paints. Now that I’ve gotten the paint I can confirm that P3 is indeed back and totally worth getting. While I didn’t splurge on the mega-set for all the colors I’ve been pleased with the starter. Perhaps I should have gone all-in. But I wanted to test them first. Plus, I wasn’t entirely sure I’d need all those colors.
And now Wave 2 is coming to crowdfunding. Their campaign kicks off today. So we’ll have to see how far this one goes!

If you’d like to back the campaign you can do that here. This wave is boasting 64 new colors, premium metallics, new primers and shadow sprays, and “more to be revealed…” which sounds cool (and a little ominous).
Personally, I’m going to keep an eye on this one as well. I’m curious about the new colors as well as the primers. Again, I really liked wave 1 — even if I didn’t get the mega-set, the ones I’ve used so far have been great. If the quality is the same I think this one is a pretty safe bet for hobbyist everywhere.
As of posting there’s still about an hour and change before the campaign goes live. I’ll be checking then to see what backing options are available from them as well.
