Build beloved characters from Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and more with these Studio Ghibli LEGO IDEAS sets – they just need your vote.

Kodama (Princess Mononoke)

Build one of the fan-favorite forest spirits with this LEGO Studio Ghibli set from Klemmplem. The figure is about eight inches tall and stands on a tree branch; below is a bug sitting on a leaf. Its curious face appears to be observing a few moths buzzing around in the air. The set really captures the spirit of the Kodama, and its simple, unbusy design would make a great addition to any Ghibli collection.

Catbus (My Neighbor Totoro)

Build the bus stop where the sisters encounter Totoro in the rain with this creation from 10k club member TrumanBricks. The set includes Satsuki and Mei minifigs, plus Totoro, Chu totoro (blue), and Chibi totoro (white). They can be displayed on the ground in the rain or on top of the tree branch to recreate the movie’s poster art. And, of course, it inludes a brick-built Catbus with seats for everyone.

The scene shown here corresponds to the moment when Pazu and Sheeta discover the flying city after crossing the storm in their glider. Battered by the winds, they arrive in a city abandoned by man, but not by life. Nature has reclaimed its rights here. Nature’s vital and regenerative force has preserved the best and most beautiful things on the island.  The protagonists are welcomed by a guardian. Without humans, the robot soldiers become simple “gardeners” and ardent defenders of life. Is there a nobler use of technology than protecting life?

Brickheadz Calcifer (Howl’s Moving Castle)

This set from GatoBearVinci captures Howl’s trusted and mischievous companion. The design features his expressive eyes, different mouth options to show his mood, and a vibrant flame of clear blocks on top. Its simple design really lets the character shine.

SIAI S.21 (Porco Rosso)

Fly high above the Adriatic Sea with this rendition of Marco’s SIAI S.21 by Mukkinn. The 2,400-piece LEGO Studio Ghibli set includes a detailed cockpit, top-mounted engine, floats, and a brick-built portrait of Marco himself. It has 1k votes, get yours in to make sure it meets the next milestone.

Fujimoto’s Boat (Ponyo)

Take the plunge with this LEGO Studio Ghibli set by Zeneth. The Basking Shark’s interior can hold minifigs, and its top lifts off to reveal an interior with the ship’s wheel, a cabinet, and a table. Along with the two boats from the movie, it includes three minifigs: Ponyo with a ramen bowl, chopsticks, and a backpack; Sosuke with a green bucket; and Fujimoto with a little fish Ponyo in a globe of water and a potion bottle.

Gütiokipänjä Bakery (Kiki’s Delivery Service)

This LEGO Studio Ghibli build is a collab between 10k club members Vaicko and Water Leaper.

This is our build based on “Kiki’s Delivery Service”, a great animated movie made by Studio Ghibli released on July 29, 1989. The set includes five characters: Kiki, Jiji, Tombo, Fukuo, Ozono and Ursula. The building of the set is Gütiokipänjä bakery, Inside are depicted the four main rooms from the film: The shop, the bakery, the living room/kitchen and Kiki’s room. This build contains 2980 pieces and includes various references to the movie, can you spot them all?

Chihiro And No Face Bank (Spirited Away)

This isn’t just a display piece. Thanks to a clever gear system designed by NasqBrick, you can tilt No Face’s head back to reveal a coin storage compartment in its body. The mechanism also simultaneously raises the hand holding a sake cup that acts as a coin holder. This one is a staff pick and is on it’s way to joining the 10k club.

My Neighbor Totoro Theatrical Poster

This set designed by 10k club member jazlecraz offers you a different way to display your fandom. Recreate the beloved movie’s original Japanese poster with this LEGO Art style set. It’s three-dimensional; Satsuki and her umbrella stand out from the frame for added depth. This set needs around 400 votes to hit 5k – make sure to give it your support.
