LEGO: Star Wars – Five of the Coolest Walkers To Stomp Around With
Check out some of the coolest LEGO Star Wars sets featuring everyone’s favorite ground combat vehicles, walkers.
LEGO Star Wars has a long history of putting out amazing kits. Over the years, they’ve only really gotten better, with a fantastic number of great kits available on the market. You have some really amazing kits featuring every type of vehicle and faction from the galaxy far, far away. So today, let’s take a look at some sets that focus on the most iconic type of ground combat vehicles in Star Wars, walkers.

UCS AT-ST (2025)
After the AT-AT, the next most iconic walker has got to be the AT-ST, with this one showing up in OT as well. It’s often called the Chicken Walker for obvious reasons. Like the AT-AT, there have been a number of sets replicating this one. While many have their good points (I’m a big fan of 75254 and its pirate paint scheme). This newest one kind of takes the cake.
Look, it’s not a secret that UCS sets are the coolest around, and they’ve made some super great ones. And recently, we’ve gotten spoiled by them for walkers. I said that 75322 was the best normal AT-ST around, but normal is pretty much always going to be beaten out by UCS.
This brand new UCS AT-ST is probably my favorite version of that iconic walker we’ve ever gotten. It’s a big and cool set with lots of details and looks fire. The driver mini-fig also comes with a really great helmet. If you want an AT-ST to display, this is the one to get, and for a UCS set, it’s pretty affordable.

AT-AT (4483-1)
Let’s start off with what has to be the most iconic walkers in all of Star Wars, the classic AT-AT. First showing up in The Empire Strikes Back, this is really the first of the big walkers we’ve seen, and it’s become a pop culture icon of its own! Now there have been a few sets of the AT-AT (how do you say the name anyway?) But my favorite “normal” one is 4481-1 from way back in 2003
At over 1000 pieces, it was a big set for back then, and it still looks really great. It’s also got some nice play features with Luke ready to blow one up and a speeder that launches from its butt. Just a great set that holds up. Combine it with the 2004 Rebel Snowspeeder (4500-1) for the complete experience.

Captain Rex’s AT-TE (75157)
Going back to the Clone Wars, the AT-TE is the most iconic walker from that era. It’s a really cool looking vehicle that somehow looks a bit more practical than the Imperial walkers. There have been several versions of this over the years as well. My favorite AT-TE is Rex’s AT-TE from Star Wars: Rebels. This is the walker that Rex and some other de-chipped Clones have converted into a walking home/sand worming fishing base on Seelos.

This walker just has a really cool kind of makeshift/post-apocalyptic vibes to it and isn’t really like the other walkers we’ve gotten. It’s also a fun play set with lots of details and ropes and stuff. Gotta love it!
While you can’t get the Rebels AT-TE, you can get one from the Clone Wars. This set came out in 2022 and is still in production. It comes with Clones from the 212th and some droids.

Republic Dropship with AT-OT (10195-1)
Let’s switch gears to the Clone Wars Era and a whole different set of walkers. There are some pretty iconic walkers from this era as well, and some really great kits. However, one that really stands out to me is the combo kit of the AT-OT and dropship. At 1726 parts, this is a pretty big kit, and it should be since it gives you not one but two vehicles.
Both are pretty cool on their own. The drop ship is the lifter type and the AT-OT is a cool infantry transport type walker. But it’s the combo of the two that really shines. Being able to use the dropship to pick up and move the AT-OT around is such a cool play feature and lets this feel more like a real sci-fi military kit. It also comes with an amazing eight Phase One Clone Troopers and some great nose art. Just stellar.

UCS AT-AT Walker (75313)
I said before that 2003 was the coolest of the normal AT-ATs, and that’s true for me. But of course, UCS will almost always beat a normal set. That brings us to 75313. This is a huge set that’s full of details. It’s a super cool standout set and one that has some real presence. People have had a lot of fun motorizing them as well! For the full puppy look.
Sadly, it went out of production last year, so we gotta wait a while to get a new one. However, you can still find a few of these floating around… for a premium.
