Mantic Games: Epic Warpath Is Here – New Launch Bundles Out Now
Mantic Games is taking Big Battles back to a tiny scale. Epic Warpath is here for massive battles that fit on your tabletop!
We knew that Mantic Games was working on Epic Warpath and now it’s finally here. With the launch of Epic Warpath you’ll be able to play massive army battles set in the Warpath Universe with loads of tiny miniatures. It’s a small scale but with big gameplay potential.

If you want to learn more about the game itself, you can read more details here. And look, there’s a lot of marketing-speak in there but there’s still some good nuggets of wisdom to learn. The game is supposed to be “fast, fluid, and tactical.” Plus it was designed by Alessio Cavatore, a legend in the tabletop wargaming scene and Mantic’s own Matt Gilbert. So it’s got a solid pedigree from a games design standpoint.
Before I get all caught up in the marketing hype, I want to get a better look at the miniatures and the rules for this game. I think that’s a pretty fair ask! The good news is the launch line-up of pre-orders is looking good. Plus, there’s lots of pictures of the tiny miniatures to look at.
Bring On The Pre-Order Launch Products
The main draw might be the Epic Warpath: 2 Player Starter Set (Battle for Phrovox) $160. It’s going to come with two armies. You’ve got the classic match-up of Enforcers vs Plague and there’s a LOT of miniatures in the box.
On top of that starter set, there’s also four Core Army Packs to choose from as well for the pre-order launch.

Those are looking very tiny but neat! All of the Core Army Sets are also designed specifically for players to be able to get one and get playing fast. They are planning to get these shipped out in late September as well.
Now, I don’t have any info on the gameplay …yet. The good news is that Mantic is planning a couple of events. First up, keep an out on Wednesdays for more Warpath news from Mantic (I know I will be). There’s also going to be a livestream from Mantic 5pm THURSDAY 18th September. I’ll need to check the time zones on that one. I’m betting they are in BST but I’m sure that will get cleared up as well as where we can tune in. For now, check out those launch boxes and get ready for BIG battles on a small scale!
