It’s time to take a closer look at the new Helsmiths of Hashut Miniatures. We’ve got them in the studio and have them assembled!

We have the new Helsmiths of Hashut Army box in the studio thanks to Games Workshop. This army is a breath of daemonically empowered fresh air! It’s got a very distinct look and direction that GW is going with the army. I’m glad to see all the kits up close and the fact that many of them have alternate builds is just fantastic for the army’s launch. That said, let’s take a closer look at these miniatures!

War Despot

The War Despot leads this army box. Which is great because the set can be used right out of the box as a Spearhead force. He’s stubby and tough looking — as he should be! Packing that heavy armor and glaive (and holstered weapon) makes him a presence on the battlefield.

And yes, we even managed to get this one painted up and sent in to the WarCom team to show off, too.

Tormentor Bombard

One of the two engines of war coming in this box is the Tormentor Bombard. As you can see above there are two weapon options — either the cannon or the rockets. And if you notice, this is the same model — just with the weapon swapped. How? Magnets! Which are apparently really easy to use on this build. So thanks to GW for making that happen!

Dominator Engine

The Dominator Engine is the other warmachine and yes, once again there are two build options. And also yes, MAGNETS once again. So if you’re a hobbyists who’s looking to try out different builds you don’t have to sacrifice these kits for one or the other. Just do both!

Infernal Cohort

The Infernal Cohort is the meat and potatoes of the Helsmith’s infantry. These came with Heshutite Spears. There’s also a hobgrot gong carrier coming along, too. I think there’s enough variety in these miniatures to keep it interesting. I’m still liking how the army looks as a whole and I’m personally partial to those green flames.
