The Gitmobs are getting a new Spearhead and we’re taking a closer look at the contents for a Pricing Breakdown!

With the arrival of the Snarlfangs, the Gloomspite Gitz got a new way to play. Out from the caves and darkness and on to the back of the Snarlpack. They chase down Glareface Frazzlegit all over the Mortal Realms — or at least that’s what they believe. Now, they have a new Spearhead making it’s way to the tabletop. Let’s check the math on this one and see what sort of deal it is!

Spearhead: Snarlpack Huntaz Pricing Breakdown

Contents

Snarlboss and Wolfgit Retinue $42

6x Snarlpack Cavalry $120

2x Sunsteala Wheelas $92

Total Individual MSRP $254

Total Savings $109

Again we’re assuming a price point of $145 like the other Spearheads for Age of Sigmar. That said, this looks like quite a deal! You’re almost getting both sets of 3 Snarlpack Cavalry’s costs offset by that discount. That’s pretty hard to argue in terms of savings.

So is this one worth picking up? I think it’s pretty obvious that if you’re looking to start a Snarlfang army, YES. This is clearly a good buy. In fact, I could easily see picking up 2 copies to really jump start that sort of army. It’s too bad the Snarlboss on War-Wheela is a different kit than the two Sunsteala Wheelas. But then again, maybe you can come up with a conversion to give yourself the option.

Again, because this is a Spearhead, it’s also going to have rules that you can download for free from WarCom to use this set in Spearhead Games. I think this is one of the best features of Spearhead boxes, too. If you just wanted to dabble with an army but not commit to a full-sized 2000 point army then Spearhead is perfect for that. Who knows? You might actually want to expand after playing Spearhead with this boxed set.

This one is a Repeat for anyone looking to start a Snarlfang army from the Gloomspite Gitz!
