Don’t Feed This Adorable LEGO Gizmo After Midnight
The first of the ’80s nostalgia challenge sets is hitting shelves soon. Check out the super cute LEGO Gizmo from Gremlins!
A special gift becomes a nightmare (comedy) when a gadget salesman buys his son a special gift in Chinatown – a mogwai. Caring for the furry little creature comes with some unusual rules: never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. Breaking these rules comes with dire consequences… with mohawks.
Written written by Chris Columbus and directed by Joe Dante, this Christmas movie is a certified cult classic. And its adorable star is getting a LEGO set next month.
LEGO IDEAS Gizmo
Don’t feed this set after midnight. This Mogwai designed by terauma won the ‘If We Could Turn Back Time’ challenge last year. Along with the piece count nearly tripling, the official version swaps Gizmo’s iconic Rambo gear for a pair of 3D glasses.
Build a Gizmo action figure with this set. He’s fully articulated so he can sit or stand, and his head rotates. You can also adjust his ears, arms, hands, fingers and feet to create different looks and have him hold stuff. The set alos includes some fun accessories like a water splash element that attaches to Gizmo’s back, plus brick-built 3D glasses like the ones Gizmo used to read comic books in the movie.
This set arrives on October first, just in time for spooky season and time to get through some of your backlog before Christmas; pre-orders are open now.
