Join The Space Battle With These ‘Star Wars’ Board Games
Are you joining the Rebellion, the Empire, or jumping into a totally different time period? Pick your side with these Star Wars board games.
Are you excited for The Mandalorian and Grogu? It feels like now that the trailer has been dropped, the countdown has begun. So if you can’t get enough of this duo’s adventures and want to have a few galactic stories of your own in the meantime, these Star Wars board games will throw you into a galaxy far far away.
2. Battle of Hoth
Battle of Hoth is a miniature strategy game where two players will choose between the Rebellion and the Empire and see who would win the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back in a redo. This is a game with a ton of replayability. So if you lose, it’s time for a re-redo on that battle.
3. Sabacc

If you want to pretend to be in Star Wars but also want a game to play, these are some playable Sabacc cards! But how do we play a fake card game from a fictional universe? Well this set comes with all of the cards, dice, and instructions you’ll need. So get on your most galactic cosplay or brownest bathrobe, invite over one to seven friends, and play some Sabacc!
4. The Clone Wars Pandemic

Has anyone else looked at their copies of Pandemic in the last few years and thought, “This brutal game that is difficult to win even with a full team used to be fun, but now it feels a bit on the nose?” No, just me? That’s okay. No matter why you may be looking for a game similar to Pandemic but different enough, there’s this Clone Wars variation.
Instead of a global pandemic, you’re fending off separatists and Dooku’s droid armies. But every time you squeak out a win, something unravels on the other side of the galaxy or organization; teamwork and a clear head are musts.
5. Villainous

But what if you’re sick of playing a Jedi? What if you just want to go feral? There are some Dark Side offerings for you! Villainous started out as a Disney-themed game based around all of the villains trying to out-villain each other.
But it’s moved onto Star Wars as well as Marvel characters. Playing as Darth Vader, General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, Moff Gideon, or Kylo Ren, be the first to complete your goals and claim your title as the biggest baddy around.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy more lightsabers for my lightsaber collection.
