Brave the brick-built caves and outsmart the Fratellis to find One-Eyed Willy’s treasure – the LEGO Goonies set is here.

The 80s comedy follows a band of misfit kids as they seek out a fortune in long-lost pirate treasure – that could save one of their homes from greedy land developers. It’s become a cult movie classic and stars some beloved actors, including Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, and Ke Huy Quan.

Thanks to one of last year’s LEGO IDEAS challenges, their adventure is being immortalized in plastic bricks.

This brick-built version of One-Eyed Willy’s pirate ship, created by Delusion Brick, was the grand prize winner of the ‘If We Could Turn Back Time’ challenge last year.

“In designing this set, I revisited my childhood memories – growing up in the 80s, playing with LEGO Pirates sets and watching The Goonies. Combining nostalgia, fantasy, and creativity, I wanted to build something that offered both playability and display value. The final design merges the legendary Inferno with the cave system and booby traps, capturing the spirit of adventure that made the film so unforgettable. I’m thrilled to see it come to life and hope it brings joy to fans old and new.”

Follow in the gang’s footsteps in the interior of the set, starting with the Fratellis’ hideout and through the secret fireplace into the caves below. There are a bunch of fun moving parts in this set that recreate moments from the movie. You can activate the boulder-dropping trap and use the copper bones key to release a trapdoor. Sloth can slide down the mast on the Inferno deck. Push the keys on the skeleton organ to break the floor, which takes you down the slide to the octopus (from this deleted scene).

Mike “Mikey” Walsh, Richard “Data” Wang, Clark “Mouth” Devereaux, Lawrence “Chunk” Cohen, Mama Fratelli, Andrea “Andy” Carmichael, and Willy minifigs are included. Plus a bunch of accessories like the treasure map, bubble gum, and a pizza box.
