LEGO: ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ Joins The 10K Club – Derpy Tiger May Be The IDEAS Next Set
K-Pop Demon Hunters have made it to the LEGO IDEAS 10k club – and ther are more that need your vote!
Derpy Tiger Joins the 10k Club
This 913-piece set rocketed into the 10k club in two short months thanks to the popularity of the Netflix hit. It features the blue tiger (inspired by Minhwa paintings) with his protective presence and magical color palette, and his mysterious and mystical counterpart, Sussie, the three-eyed magpie. Derpy holds a note in his mouth – a message from Jiro that reads: “Hello friend.”
Golden Stage / The Underworld
The movie is filled with Korean history – from its mythology to clothing and art. The ‘Golden’ stage takes inspiration from traditional Korean architecture, specifially a folding screen called an Irworobongdo (일월오봉도). This set uncludes a brick-built version, as well as the classic flared roof of the building above. Flip the stage around to reveal Gwi-Ma and the SAJA BOYS in demon form.
Includes Rumi, Mira, Joey, Jinu, Abby, Baby, Mystery, Romance, Bobby, Derpy and Sussie minifigs.
Sussie the Magpie
The magpie is called kkachi (까치) in Korean. The bird is a symbol of good luck and good news and is featured in Minhwa paintings, frequently with a tiger like Derpy. The design of this set is simple, but it really captures the character with its stolen hat and bobbing, posable tail.
Golden Stage Playset
A smaller take on the ‘Golden’ stage includes the three members of Huntr/x with their weapons, Derpy tiger with tongue out option, and Sussie the magpie. The stage features the folding screen inspired visuals and logo with floodlights and dots scattered beneath to represent lights from passionate fans gathered around a stage.
Huntr/x Jet
The model captures the jet’s white and pink design, complete with engines, detailed wings, and an interior that includes seats and tables. It even has the very important teapot and three instant noodle cups ready in just three minutes! And you can jump into the demon-hunting action with Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, taking on two colorful demon minifigs.
HUNTR/X Action Figures
These posable figurescome with a ton of customization options that use existing sets. Rumi’s hair is made from LEGO Hero Factory joints and Zoey’s buns use car tires. The trio comes with:
