Whether you’re prepping for a horror campaign for Halloween or enjoy a little horror all year, these Halloween dice will make things spooky.

How many sets of dice do you have? Too many? Well, how many creepy sets of Halloween dice do you have? Could you use a couple? I bet you could! And I have a few suggestions that will make your horror Halloween one-shots or year-round non-horror games just a little bit more Halloweeny.

Dice In Pumpkin Buckets

This set feels like going trick-or-treating. It comes with eight complete sets of D&D dice and four mini pumpkin buckets to hold them all in. The designs on the dice are pretty subtle, with small bats, brooms, and things along those lines. But they look very nice, and the pumpkin candy bucket style can’t be beat.

‘Lil Devil Dice

These say devil dice, but they look a little more like bats to me. Either way, though, they’re very fun and very Halloween-y. The miniature figures in the dice sit on pumpkin orange fields, and the silver numbering gives the dice a clean and easy-to-read finish.

Spooky Story Dice

These spooky story time dice let you roll up a scary story of your own. The dice come with a key to explain the pictures on the dice as well as a guide of game/story ideas and instructions. Is this a kids’ game? Sure. But storytelling tools and games are good for all ages, especially for all of the TTRPG players out there.

Pumpkin Dice

If you’re looking for some classic Halloween dice, these are it. They’re bright orange on black with pumpkins, bats, and a spooky number font. How are numbers spooky? I don’t know, but these manage it.

Glow in the Dark Dice

At first glance, I didn’t think these dice were pretty fun. They look nice, and the gold numbering pops. But I wish they had done more with the white Halloween designs on the black background… Until you turn out the lights and see that those designs glow in the dark! There’s nothing intrinsically creepy about glow-in-the-dark. But they make us think of turning out the lights and being in that darkness, and that can be scary. Or, it just makes for very fun gaming dice.

Bones

I love dice that are shaped like other things. In this case, these D6 are shaped like a bunch of bones. This is perfect for all of the games that only require D6 while you’re playing your spooky Halloween horror TTRPGs. And the visual pun of ‘rolling bones’ gave me a sensible chuckle.

Spider Dice

If you’re creeped out by spiders, these dice may not be for you. If not, each has a little (plastic) spider trapped in the resin with a red numbering that makes me wonder if the spider bit anyone. These dice will ensure that you always have seven little friends helping you play D&D.
