Mantic: Kings of War 4th Edition Pre-Orders Now Live
If you’re a fan of the rank-and-file battles in Kings of War then it’s time to get your pre-orders in for the new 4th Edition!
Kings of War 4th edition has been in the works. We’ve been seeing the previews and things are looking up. And now you can order the new edition’s 2-Player Starter (along with various bundles) right now from Mantic Games!

There’s even more bundle deals on their website besides the ones listed above. That said, I did want to call out a few specific ones to look at.
First up, there’s the new 2-Player Starter. This is slated to ship out in November 2025. It’s the new Claws in the Sand Box that comes with all the goodies you need to jump right in. It also features two different armies with the brand new Xirkaali army battling the Trident Realm.
This starter bundle clocks in at $155. Now, if you want to spring for a fancier hardcover rulebook, you can get a bundle for both with the 4th Edition Starter Bundle. For $195.46 you’ll get the new 2-player starter and the aforementioned hardback Core Rulebook.
Aside from those two bundles, there’s a TON of other new units and other bundles coming to the game. In particular, if you wanted to go all in with the new Xirkaali, they have a “one-click” army bundle option, too.
The Xirkaali One-Click Ultimate Bundle – with FREE Xorxoi Prowlmaster clocks in at $553.84 and appears to have at least one of every new unit for the army. I’m not going to pretend to know what each unit is yet but this deal is $700 in miniatures for a nice discount. If you really want to learn more about the Xirkaali, you can also check out this video:
