Build starships, moonbases, and a big space man inspired by the classic LEGO space theme. These sets just need your vote!

Portal to the Moon Bookends

Add LEGO space adventures to your bookshelf! On one side of this set of bookends is a group of scientists opening a swirling blue portal with a machine; on the other, spacemen explore the surface of the moon with the stars behind them. The set includes two scientists and three classic space men minifigs – including one that’s coming through the portal.

Classic Space X1 Patrol Base

This set elevates the classic LEGO space sets with modern design and building techniques. With its 1,522 pieces you can build a base station with a fusion reactor, tech buggy, tow buggy, tank, and ladder. Four classic spacemen are also included.

I want to build the next chapter of the story. But I have grown up, the new Galaxy Explorer too (I used it as a guide to create this X1 craft, obviously). I tried not to betray the legacy of Classic Space, so that you can recognize it at the first glimpse. I would like the Galaxy Explorer to stand next to it and fit together.

Following the path of the new Galaxy Explorer, I settled on another world. Hopefully it’s clearly Classic Space, and at the same time today’s design. I chose a new planet, to add color (the building and ship stand out better by the way), and make my point: that’s not the moon anymore, it’s a brave new world!

Space Playground

This 664 peice set is a collaboration between two creators. This lunar playground, inspired by their childhoods, features a swing set, seesaw, riding rocketship, and galactic slide for the included adorable space baby minifigs to enjoy.

Upscaled Lego Space Man

Classic, driver, and Santa minifigs have gotten the upscale treatment – it’s about time the classic space man does, too. This bigger version features the minifig’s blue suit with helmet and backpack, and of course, the classic logo.

Moon Cheese

This whimsical, small build imagines the surface of the moon as a hunk of Swiss cheese. Three spacemen minifigs operate a rover, satellite tower, and rocket. Its 201 piece count makes it a great option for a one-sitting build – maybe while watching A Grand Day Out With Wallace and Gromit and Georges Méliès’ A Trip to the Moon as a double feature.

Horizon Starfighter

The canopy of this fighter is removable so you can seat two minifigs in the cockpit and it has an adjustable display. And it has a fantastic back story…

In the year 2082, Horizon Class Starfighters were considered the backbone of Earth’s planetary defense force. But after nearly 20 years of service, they fell slowly out of favor for newer, more advanced models. This, however, has only increased their appeal in the aftermarket for buyers who are drawn to their robust design and ‘retro’ vibe.

Two such buyers were father and daughter duo Axel and Rogue. A windfall from a lucrative job enabled the pair to purchase a tidy example which they set about restoring to its original glory. After a thorough engine rebuild, rewire and fresh paint job, the fighter was once again ready for action and was quickly put to work exploring the outer reaches of the galaxy.

Ai Rover Drone

Build a roving crawler that houses a mini mining reasearch labratory with a computer, as well as all of the comforts of home for its crew (and their pet fish). It features powerful warning and signal lights on top and a drone mounted on the back that can carry two passengers to explore a planet’s surface. This modular set offers a ton of playability.

The Space Pursuer

This starship is built for speed. It has a high powered jet engine to travel the stars at top speed. No need to worry about pesky asteriods getting in your way, it has two focused laser blasters on the front as well as a radio and radar unit to guide its path. This build uses the classic space colors and logo, and can seat one minifig.
