Welcome to another Tuesday and you know what that means! It’s Rumor Engine time. Today’s image is fairly simple to understand — but that’s the trick! Who’s hair are we looking at here?! You’ll really comprehend once you see it for yourself.

Rumor Engine – Top Notch Top Knot
Start your guessing now! This one is a bit of a doozy when you really start to think about it. There’s loads of factions that use top knots in their styling. First up, I think of Chaos due to those spikes:
It does remind me of the somewhat typical top knot you’d see on their helmets. Does that mean we’re about due for some more Chaos Marines? We’ll have to wait and see. However, they are far from the only folks that use them. This could be a hair squig after all!
But that opens up a whole other ball of wax. Because orky top knots also cross over into the realm of mortals…or rather the Mortal Realms. Maybe it’s an Orruk!?
However, that could also circle back to more chaos in AoS due to the Darkoath and their chosen hair styles…
And, just to reiterate, these are just a few of the factions that use top knots. Heck, we could even start looking at the Old World, too! Not to mention the loyalist 40k side of things even more — White Scars do have top knots for example.
The point is this is one of those cases where just because we can clearly see what we’re looking at with the Rumor Engine doesn’t mean we understand it! It’s a top knot. But who’s sporting this style!?
Still one of the best top knots in the grimdark.
