Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Blue Marvel & Spectrum Release Date Announced
We finally have an official release date for this missing pair of super heroes coming to Marvel: Crisis Protocol!
I won’t keep you waiting. The official release date is now January 9, 2026! Also, pre-orders are now live for the new character pack, too. Better late than never!
Blue Marvel & Spectrum On The Way
Okay, so what happened? Well, this goes back to their first real teaser at Adepticon 2025. AMG flashed them on the screen and they had a estimated shipping date of “Q4” which, at the time, we all assumed was of 2025.
Well, since that point we really didn’t get a ton of news. In fact, even the roadmap that was shown off didn’t have them listed (it kind of skipped over Q4 entirely).
I do want to mention that AMG, to their credit, did say that these dates were subject to change. But I don’t know if they were entirely prepared for what was to come.
Adepticon 2025 happened in March. On April 2, 2025, the Trump Tariffs were announced. And by May we were already seeing those ripple effects in the Boardgame/Tabletop Industry. AMG even had to increase pricing due to the the Trump Tariffs. It’s been a turbulent year to put it mildly.
ANYHOW, news on Blue Marvel and Spectrum’s release date was basically silent since Adepticon. I was even hoping to hear news about them during the Ministravaganza that happened this past weekend. But nope — radio silence. Until today.
The Mighty Avengers, Assemble!
With their arrival we’re also getting a brand new Affiliation, too! The Mighty Avengers.

From the item descriptions we also know that Spectrum will have a new leadership ability that allows for her team to “share Power to support allies.” For Blue Marvel, he’s coming in as a Threat 5 character that “serves as a potent tank and damage dealer.” Personally, I think Blue Marvel is highly underrated. That dude is a freaking power house with brains to match. If you know, you know.
It’s going to be a big year in 2026 for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. And it seems like Blue Marvel and Spectrum are looking to kick things off in January!
