The Sentinels are on deck for some major upgrades. But there’s more than enough X-Men Villains to go around. Here’s a few we’d like to see.

We knew that the Sentinels were due for some new characters. But after the Ministravaganza reveals, I’m really pumped to see them on the tabletop. The Sentinels are a classic X-Men enemy for sure and them get some love is great for the game.

Then there was the big reaveal that we were going to get Onslaught! While I there was a moment there where I thought were about to get a Master Mold, I was also cheering to see Onslaught. Afterwards, I had to ask who’s left? But I knew that answer. Which is “lots of characters.” Turns out the X-Men have a lot of villains. So here’s a short list of a few I’d like to see.

So pumped for Onslaught!

With that said, let’s get to these other X-Men villains waiting in the wings…

Lady Deathstrike

First up is Lady Deathstrike. Most folks might know her because of her feud with Wolverine. And their beef runs deep. Adding her makes a lot of sense in my mind and also opens up the other cybernetically enhanced characters she runs with: The Reavers. Really, having her and a Reaver team release could be a whole thing by themselves. Make it happen Atomic Mass Games!

Stryfe

Stryfe is one of those characters that if you know, you know. He’s a cloned version of Cable, but without the Techno-organic virus holding him back. And to further make him more of a threat he’s also been raised by Apocalypse in an alternate timeline. So yeah…he’s a bad dude! I shouldn’t really need to explain why all that power and nasty upbringing would make for an awesome villain. But I will say that I think AMG could do an amazing job on the sculpt for this character!

Sebastian Shaw

I really want AMG to expand the Hellfire Club roster by creating new characters. Specifically Sebastian Shaw. He can absorb energy and use it to enhance his own abilities. But really, he’s got a lot of money and it’s a smart tactical thinker. You don’t become the Black King of the Hellfire Club on accident. Anyhow, I really believe he could be added to the Hellfire Club as another Leadership option. And maybe we can add in some Hellfire Goons as a Grunt/Multi-character base option, too!

Deathbird

I feel like Deathbird might feel like an out of place character on this list — but that’s mostly because she a bit of a deep-cut X-Men reference. If you watched X-Men ’92-’97 then you know she’s the sister of Lilandra. She’s often at odds with the other members of her family, too. However, I think she’s perfect as an X-Men villain on this list because she’s got ties to them and also to the Shi-ar Empire. We’ve got Gladiator in the game. I’m just sayin…

Holocaust/Nemesis/Genocide

This one’s a weird one. There’s some controversy over the name of this character but he was originally introduced as Holocaust. He’s from an alternate timeline (Earth-295) but has also been called Nemesis and even Genocide as other versions of him have appeared. Anyhow, he claims to be the son and heir to Apocalypse. Honestly, I tend to believe him! While his backstory is complicated “Because Comics!” there’s no denying he’s a powerhouse. He’s actually in a Crystalline armor that helps to contain and regulate his powers. And that’s really why I want to see AMG tackle this character. The sculpt on this miniature could be crazy cool!
