Marvel: Crisis Protocol – New ‘X-Men’ & ‘Inhumans’ Affiliation Packs Announced
Atomic Mass Games continues to reissue characters into new Affiliation Packs. New packs for The X-Men and the Inhumans are coming soon!
Yesterday, AMG announced the arrival of the Xavier Students (X-Men Affiliation Pack) and the new Inhumans Affiliation Pack. Both of these packs are repackaging of previously released characters. The big difference is that these packs end up being a better deal for players! Let’s take a look at each pack.
Xavier’s Students (X-Men) Affiliation Pack

- Updated Character Cards
- Team Tactics Cards
This pack is basically the contents of CP57 – Colossus & Magic ($39.99) and the contents of CP112 – Bishop & Nightcrawler ($42.99). Both of these packs have been out of print for a while at this point. Combined, they would have had a total MSRP of $82.98. Now you can get the new pack for $69.99.
Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Xavier’s Students Affiliation Pack $69.99
This character expansion pack combines the previously released CP57 Colossus & Magik and CP112 Bishop & Nightcrawler into a single new product. This pack is ideal for players looking to expand their collection of mutant characters from the CP271 X-Men Starter Set, but can also be used to add some X-Men power to the various Affiliations found in CP143 Earth’s Mightiest Core Set.
Now, it’s worth noting that the release date for this pack is January 23, 2026. This pack was first announced at the MCP Adepticon 2025 reveals.
Obviously, there was a pretty big hiccup in the release dates in April so things have been shifted around. Anyhow, the Xavier’s Students Affiliation Pack is on the way and it also makes a perfect pairing with the upcoming X-Men Starter Set. I’m a little biased because I’m a pretty big X-Men fan and this pack has some of my favorites in it. Both Nightcrawler and Colossus always find a way to perform amazingly in my games. Bishop was a little tricky to use before due to his area attack being the best way to bleed off excess energy at the cost of possibly hitting allies. But with the Rules Changes, I think Bishop’s stock just went up. Magik is also a lot fun and can spike damage and is pretty mobile. So yeah, I’m a fan of this one.
Inhumans Affiliation Pack

This is another pack that is repackaging two previous packs into one. It combines CP34 – Black Bolt & Medusa and CP35 – Crystal & Lockjaw into a single box. Now, I would try to find links to these packs but they’ve been out of print for so long that I don’t think non-eBay links are live anyhow. Price-wise, they were both around $36-$39.99. Now they are combined and will run you $64.99 for the new box. They also have a release date of January 23, 2026.
These characters were slated for a re-release in Q4 2025 as well. Their names were spotted at the same Adepticon 2025 show. But again, things got delayed. Anyhow, it’s good to see them on the way now. I wish I had more insights on if this pack is good or not but unfortunately I don’t. I haven’t played any games with any of these characters because by the time I really got into play MCP, I couldn’t find their packs. So yeah, this is one pack that is definitely on my list!

This pack combines the previously released character packs CP34 Black Bolt & Medusa and CP35 Crystal & Lockjaw into a single Affiliation Pack. This Affiliation Pack is ideal for players who want to bring the Inhumans into their collection, including 4 core members of the team as well as 5 key Team Tactic Cards cen-tered around the Inhuman Affiliation.
I’m looking forward to seeing both of these packs hit shelves! I really want to play the War of Kings missions again. This time with more Inhuman options to have around…
