Necromunda: More Hangers-On Coming To A Hive Near You
Get your credits ready to hire these Hangers-on. Your Necromunda Gangs will be glad to have their support!
There’s a five pack of Hangers-on heading to the tabletop from Games Workshop and each one brings a little something extra. They might just have the edge your gang needs to rise from the sump to the top of the spire. If you’ve got the credits to hire them, that is…
“This pack of five Hangers-on brings some existing favourites to plastic – the Ammo-jack, Slopper, Dome Runner, and Rogue Doc, who now has a handy medi skull – and it also adds a brand new Hanger-on, the ever vigilant Hive Watcher.”
Fan Favorite Hangers-on Return To Necromunda
This new five-pack of characters brings some existing (and handy) Hangers-on to the tabletop in a new plastic kit. These are basically alternative sculpts compared to their previous versions (which are still usable). However, they are now in plastic so that’s a nice change. You can actually find rules for them in the various House of… Gang books. However, in the upcoming Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession – Spire of Primus will have updated rules for the Rogue Doc, Dome Runner, and the new Hive Watcher rules. That said, let’s take a look at the new sculpts!
Ammo-Jack
Slopper
Rogue Doc
Dome Runner
Hive Watcher
Overall, I think these are just nice alternative options for folks who want to use them in their gangs. If you’ve already got the previous versions then you’re good. But this new five pack should make it easier to collect for newer players or anyone who skipped the resin versions. Personally, I do prefer plastic over resin miniatures. I think plastic is easier to work with and I also like plastic glue vs superglue on those miniatures. But that’s a personal preference. You do you.
On top of the new miniatures, GW also previewed some of the new/updated rules so here they are to take a quick look at.
Again, as with most Hangers-on, having them in your gang is typically nice to have but not mandatory. I consider them a nice optional thing to bring if you have access to them. Some of them really do fill in gaps for gangs though! So have fun with them.
Are you going to recruit these Hangers-on to your gang?
