Is the dragon about to take your entire party out or impart some helpful wisdom on you? Maybe these dragon dice will help it be on your side.

When it comes to fantasy creatures, and especially D&D creatures, dragons are one of the first ones we think of. With D&D, it’s in the name. Dragon dice come in a wide variety, from artistic and beautiful to fun and whimsical to borderline terrifying. And we love all of them, because dragons.

Dragon Egg Dice

Instead of a single dragon, this dice set looks like a nest of seven eggs. Dice that don’t have the classic dice shape are always a lot of fun, and these look like you’re about to hatch a whole bunch of little dragons. The dice also come in a specialized box that also looks like an egg. So you can keep your dice on display between games. And maybe you will. See if you can talk your GM into giving your party a pet dragon baby to care for.

Blue Dragon Dice

I love how simple and striking the blue-on-gold of this design is. But the dragons being stretched out over multiple faces of the various dice gives this design so much movement and personality. These feel a little more thoughtful and artistic than other sets of dice, and I can’t stop staring at them…. Which may mean that I need another set of dice for my own collection.

Liquid Dragon Dice

Everything about the inside of these dice looks like liquid, including the swirling dragon designs. The gold numbering adds a little extra sparkle to the inside, for a complete visual that will be very pretty and attention grabbing at the table.

Dragon Eye Dice

These dice don’t look like they house small dragons or showcase pictures of them. Instead, each die itself looks like a close-up of a dragon’s face and eye. The dice are covered in a faux scale effect with a creepy red eye that always makes it look like a dragon is looking at you with judgment… and probably doesn’t like what it sees. I’m sure that rolling its eye along the table won’t make that any worse.

Celtic Dragon Dice

This is a slightly different take on the dragon design, but it may be perfect for your character and game. I love this Celtic-inspired artwork and patterning. And gold on green is always beautiful. These dice make me think of classic fantasy-adventure quests. And if that’s what you’re playing, these little dragons may will fit in perfectly with your party.

Hollow Dragon Dice

Hollow dice are always very neat and a unique take on the usual design. In this case, little dragons take up the space in the middle while red numbering stands out along the edges. And metal dice always have a weight that feels very satisfying to roll. Will the dragons look like they’re flying when they roll across the table? You should find out for yourself.
