Imperium Maledictum brings the mechadendritic upgrades of the Adeptus Mechanicus to grim, dark roleplay in the 40K Universe.

Big news for the grim darkness of the distant future, Imperium Maledictum is expanding to include more of the Imperial factions that you know and love. Starting with a set of guides for the Adeptus Mechanicus. Soon, you too will be able to praise the Omnissiah. Let everyone know that you know the flesh is weak, and maybe even find ways to commit tech heresy, which is kind of like double heresy if it involves thinking machines AND Chaos.

Imperium Maledictum – Adeptus Mechanicus Guides Coming Soon

Imperium Maledictum is the spiritual successor to Dark Heresy. It’s d100 based roleplaying in the 41st Millennium, complete with all the creative ways to die in the void of space. Or on the shores of a Death World. Or in the smog-ridden gantryways of a choked out Hive World. It’s all about exploring the dark corners of the 40K universe, and seeing what turns up.

Which is why it’s really exciting to see two books coming up that expand the dark corners even more. Because in the upcoming Adeptus Mechanicus guides, they not only add new options – but they’re options meant to be played all in the same system. Same framework. Theoretically you could even play them in the same campaign, though that might be just a beautiful dream.

First up, the Ad Mech player’s guide, which is where you’ll find all the rules, tools, and more you’ll need to play heroes of the Adeptus Mechanicus:

“Across the Macharian Sector, the machine cult seeks sacred truths in steel, circuitry and forbidden relics of ages past. The Adeptus Mechanicus Player’s Guide empowers you to forge Tech-Adept agents, secure augmetics, and wield the sacred weaponry of Mars – while balancing the razor-thin divide between blessed innovation and tech-heresy.”

And then the GM’s Guide is your best bet for handling all the many-tiered secrets of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Whether that’s sector-spanning machinations like shadow wars between Forge Worlds. Or just skirmishes between rival cells of the Cult of the Omnissiah. If you want to explore ancient machine-vaults and voidships and more, this is the book for you.

Especially with the included campaign, Recollections of Rust, which will let you explore a decade-spanning campaign where loyalties fracture and knowledge demands sacrifice.

Both books will be up for pre-order soon from Cubicle 7, so keep an eye here for more info on when and how to pre-order them. But like all things related to the Omnissiah, it’s always faster than you think.

So get out the oil of anointing and the sacred spanner and litany of concussive maintenance!
