Star Wars: Legion – Customizable Imperial Officer & Agent Unboxed
The Imperials have a new Officer and Agent kit that’s in hard plastic. This is a nice upgrade for Star War: Legion fans!
Atomic Mass Games has been pushing the Star Wars: Legion line to new hard plastics and the results have been great. I really like the new stuff and working with it is a breeze. That said, it also gives them the option to get a tad more creative with posing. That’s one of the reasons I really like the new kit and why I’m glad AMG sent me a review copy to check out. So let’s take a deeper dive into this box!
The toughest part of this one is deciding on which options you want to run with.
Customizable Imperial Officer & Agent Unboxed
Starting off, we have the typical AMG packaging. The sprues are in their own bag to keep from damaging the cards. The cards are also in individual bags — there’s multiple languages supported so they come in different bags. There’s also the flyer for the QR code to the instructions for building these miniatures. Again, all things we’re familiar with at this point. Oh and there’s also a tiny bag for the bases because of course there is. On to the sprues…
I was a little surprised to see that this kit was actually three sprues. I would have thought that for two miniatures, you’d only need a pair of sprues. That was until I saw just how many extra bits you get here. As you can see, it’s a LOT. There’s plenty of different arm options so you can fully customize the miniatures to what you need. All the upgrade cards are free to download from AMG. And if you’ve seen all the options, then you know why there’s so many arms!
There’s also a good selection of heads to further customize your Officers and Agents. This really is a great kit for hobbyists out there. I still need to settle on what options I want to go with. The Empire Imperial Officer & Agent pack allows players to build two customized Galactic Empire characters that can be used as either a Commander or Operative when building their Galactic Empire armies.
This pack includes over 20 optional parts players can choose from when assembling their miniatures, allowing for a huge range of personal customization for each character. Players also customize their Imperial Officer and Agent’s in-game abilities using the 10 unique Upgrade cards included in this expansion. Each of these unique upgrades dramatically changes the battlefield role, abilities, and synergies the character brings to the army.
