Warhammer: World Championships Preview – Legions Imperialis Gets Saturnine & More
It was only a matter of time, right? Saturnine gets the EPIC treatment and Legions Imperialis gets more units!
The World Championships of Warhammer had a lot of reveals last night. Legions Imperiali is still going strong with some amazing new boxed sets coming. First up we have the new Saturnine Battle Group coming. It’s the contents of Saturnine (and then some) hit with the shrink ray for Legions Imperialis!
The new Saturnine Terminators and Dreadnought are in the box as well as a few other staples.
There’s also a contingent of vehicles to help ferry your Terminators around the battlefield as well as other support options, too.
That wasn’t the only surprise in store for LI fans. There’s a new Journal Strategica: The Ruin of the Salamanders on the way. Sorry Salamanders players…it looks like you’re on the receiving end on this one.
There’s also new Super-Heavy Tanks coming for the Legions Astartes, too. Below are just a few variants.
Finally, there are also a pair of OTHER Battle Groups coming to the game. These should help you get your armies up and running on the tabletop.
Both of these boxes look packed with all the goodies you’ll need to start (or bolster) your armies for Legions Imperialis!
Now, I’ll just need to get my magnifying glass ready for some EPIC overtime…
