This week’s Kickstarter roundup includes 90s Disney channel nostalgia in board game form, a new Ring of Chaos and much more.

Tome of Beasts & Beyond

Minis and tokens can add so much to your TTRPG’s experience. Sometimes it’s hard to visualize the battlefield. Sometimes you just want to see your option in a physical space. These tokens are a flat and far less bulky alternative to minis that still beautifully show you where everyone is on the map.

Whether you’re looking to elevate your collection with monsters from Tome of Beasts or gather all the classic creatures for your campaigns, RPG Essentials 2 has you covered.

RPG Essentials offers a new perspective on fantasy gaming minis. These durable, top-down acrylic tokens are beautifully illustrated from above to seamlessly integrate into your TTRPG maps. Each token is cut to shape for easy, immersive use at your table, and available at an incredible Kickstarter price.

River Market

The cute critters are headed to the market for a day of community, food, and fun. And you can join them! This game is adorable and reasonably low-stakes… Unless you need the best deals. Then it’s a battle.

On the longest day of the summer, the critters of Maple Valley gather along the river to build the annual River Market, a festival of trading, shopping, good food, and fun events!

As booths are quickly assembled, the market grows bigger and bigger. And since traffic only goes one way, you’ll need to hurry along the banks in order to find the best deals.

Disney Afternoon Rewind Board Game

I think we all remember this feeling well. Sure, maybe for you it wasn’t the Disney Channel – it wasn’t for me, we didn’t get that channel in my house. But there was a show you fondly remember running home for and never missing. This game brings all of that 90s kid nostalgia into strategy board game form.

Remember racing home after school to make it in time for your favorite cartoon lineup? The Disney Afternoon cartoon block was packed with daring heroes, clever villains, and unforgettable adventures. Now, you can bring those worlds to your tabletop with The Disney Afternoon REWIND games: six fast-paced, 2-player games, all built on the easy-to-learn REWIND System!

Build your teams from beloved characters, outsmart your opponents, and play to win exciting showdowns! It’s nostalgia, strategy, and fun in these Kickstarter Exclusive collection editions.

Bastions & Guildhalls

Most of my group’s adventures don’t utilize maps. We have a white board that the GM scribbles a basic approximation of our location and a request that we use our imagination… that said, I may need to get this for our games so we’ll always have a way to build the map we need. Not that the white board system isn’t great. But, you know. A clean, easy to read map is better.

We understand the struggle of trying to find or create the perfect building map. Maybe you don’t have the art skills, so you need to spend hours searching online for the map you need. And, even if you enjoy drawing your own maps, you might not have the time to do so!

We can often make do with a map published by our favorite artists, but sometimes, the story calls for a floor plan that we simply can’t find anywhere else. With Bastions & Guildhalls, you’ll be able to put your shrine next to your grand library, set your bard’s creative pad beside a fighter’s training room, or tuck a treasure vault behind an alchemy lab.

No more bending over backwards trying to explain away random features on the map you found!

Ring of Chaos: Rising Fear

Halloween may be over, but that doesn’t mean we’re done with horror games. We’re hanging out in the spookiest of graveyards in Rising Fear as we try to find a powerful artifact and claim its power for ourselves.

Welcome to Rising Fear, the newest edition of the hit board game Ring of Chaos from Beadle & Grimm’s. Rising Fear takes all the competitive fun of the original edition and relocates it to a chilling new setting full of haunted graveyards, animated corpses, and fiendish grave robbers. This horror-themed new version of Ring of Chaos is a stand-alone game that does not require the original set to play, so it’s perfect for newcomers and experienced fans alike.

Punch Bowl

We’re making punch. But the best punch. In Punch Bowl you’re making bowls of punch out of gigantic fruit, and try to make sure that yours has the best, most sought after ingredients.

No one knows when the giant fruits started growing, but everyone agrees they make a legendary punch. Choose one of four factions—orange, lemon, grape, or strawberry—and lead a band of rollicking revelers in this competitive punch-making game.

Use your diminishing deck of actions to compete over three massive bowls of punch. Add fruits to bowls, fish out those of your opponents, trade with the orchard, and set special ingredients to tip the balance. When the punch serves, the player who added the most desired ingredients wins the punch and gets to add the lion’s share to their punch cup. Can you fill your cup with punch and claim victory?
