Welcome to another Tuesday. I hope everyone is staying warm and safe this holiday season. That said, we’ve got a new (possible) flamethrower to ensure ONE of those things happens on the tabletop. I’ll let you decide which: warm or safe. Have a look at this new teaser image.

There’s more text from WarCom that basically says “this thing probably shoots swamp gas or promethium” and yeah…I can see it. That said, my first inclination is that this looks like some scrapped-up contraption. Almost orky…
Kruleboyz were my first guess. This totally looks like a weapon they could use. And hey, it fits with the whole “swamp gas” bit, right? But flame weapons are pretty common in both the Mortal Realms and the Grimdark. So what else could it be?
Honestly, I can’t NOT see Kruleboyz now. However, there’s another faction in 40k that uses scrappy weapons and they have a tendency to flame things…
YEP. I’m talking about Cawdor from Necromunda! And if we want to go deeper, how about the Redemptionist?!
They do like their flames. Just sayin…
Anyhow, I still think this is Kruleboyz but I’m okay with being wrong here. So if you’ve got a theory let me know in the comments. As I mentioned I can’t unsee Kruleboyz with swamp gas flamers now. That sounds pretty terrifying actually. So help me out with your theories on this one. If it’s not Kruleboyz, who else could it be?
