LEGO: Last Chance To Grab These Retiring Sets

This year’s retiring LEGO sets are selling out fast, but there are still some great sets you can get your hands on. For now.

Mos Espa Podrace Diorama (75380)

Add to your Star Wars diorama collection with a memorable scene from The Phantom Menace. This set includes Anakin Skywalker, the Arch Canyon, and features Sebulba’s Plug-F Mammoth and Anakin’s Podracer. It also comes with a plaque with Qui-Gon Jinn’s advice: “Remember. Concentrate on the moment. Feel. Don’t think. Use your instincts.”

PAC-MAN Arcade (10323)

This detailed LEGO set recreates the arcade cabinet that mechanically plays the game with a turn of a handle. The replica of the classic arcade cabinet is full of retro details and fun features. It has a 4-way joystick and an illuminated coin slot. The game’s chase between Pac-Man and the ghosts is recreated with a mechanical maze. You can even open the back and display all the mechanisms. 

The set also has a 1980s arcade scene to build and display alongside the cabinet. It has a gaming minifig and rotatable PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and CLYDE figures.

Blacktron Renegade (10355)

Bring back those warm fuzzy feelings of childhood with this retro set. Its modular design can be built in two ways. Fly through space with a sleek, asymmetrical ship. Stomp across new planets with an enhanced version of the 1980s LEGO Alienator. Your choice.

The spaceship features a planet-rover drop pod, landing gear, two wing-mounted space speeders, and two engine energy canisters. It comes with three Blacktron minifigures that pilot the ship and rover, as well as a droid to help out.

Motorized Lighthouse (21335)

This set made for adult builders features a motorized rotating light with custom-designed Fresnel lens elements and a glowing fireplace in the keeper’s cottage. The cottage and tower have detailed interiors that are easily accessed. Both sit on a rocky outcrop with steps to a pier and a cave. A lighthouse isn’t a lighthouse without a keeper—it comes with one as well as a sailor with a boat, cat, and seagull.

Star Wars: UCS X-Wing (75355)

It makes an impressive display piece and comes complete with a stand and plaque showing X-Wing technical data.

Vespa 125 (10298)

Take a trip down the streets of Italy with this 1960s era classic. The moped has 2 seats, a removable engine cover with a brick-built engine, a functioning kickstand, and working steering. Finishing touches include the Vespa logo, a classic Italian license plate, a spare wheel, a helmet. Plus a basket including a flower bouquet on the back.

Marvel: Infinity Gauntlet (76191)
