Pirate treaaure, pumpkins, witches, or a haunted train – which set will get your vote? Today is the last day!

October’s Halloween-themed challenge is wrapping up tomorrow. I’ve highlighted my favorites below, but make sure you check them all out and vote today!

In this challenge, we want you to give in to gothic grandeur and embrace the eerie. Whether you choose to build a two-sided monster or ghouls that only creep out at night, we want you to honor all the freaky feelings and creepy aesthetics that come with the witching hour. Maybe you’ll create a cute car that transforms into a vulgar vehicle in the moonlight, a cuddly creature with hidden horrors or a seemingly harmless house that comes alive at midnight – the terrifying options are truly endless!

Monster Candy

Halloween is all about tricks and treats – and so is this set. This is the most fun and mischievous take on the theme. A monster hides in an innocent looking chocolate bar, ready to bite back. A trick-or-treater minifig in a woodsman costume (with scared and pumpkin head options) comes with the tasty mimic.

The Spectral Express

Trains have been in a mainstay in LEGO’s line up – this locomotive changes in the moonlight.

The Daylight Express, a proud gold and brown steam train, ready for adventure. It shines in the daylight, its engine steady and strong as it carries passengers through peaceful towns. But when the clock strikes midnight, everything changes.

Your elegant locomotive becomes the Spectral Express, a dark, glowing, and alive with ghostly energy. The gold fades to a spectral green. Flames flicker from the smokestack. Brown shifts to black. Green light fills the windows. Every detail that once felt safe now feels alive and strange. As the train speeds through the night, fog gathers around the tracks. The whistle sounds, but it’s not the same, it’s longer, lower, and filled with voices that don’t belong to the living.

The Pumpkin Prank

Be careful walking through a pumpkin patch at night, all kinds of things are lurking in the darkness. Don’t drop your flashlight! This set features a huge pumpkin at its center with bats, a raven, and scarecrow hiding in the shadows.

Midnight Curse of Clocky Willy

“Claaaaim old Clocky Willy’s prize ‘fore midnight’s final chime, or doom’s jaws shall snap ye whole in but a single bite o’ time!”

This build captures two parts of a scary pirate tale – an unassuming portrait looking over a pirate’s treasure transforms into a haunted, bone-chilling nightmare when the clock strikes midnight. The skull with its eyepatch and glaring blood shot red eye is the real stand out here – with barely a peg to be seen.

Spooky Flower

The botanicals line has seaosnal Christmas and Thanksgiving themed sets, it’s time for a Halloween themed set. This creepy flower is watching you.

Echoes of Autumnshade

This cinematic set features a forest that’s being taken over by supernatural forces. A car drives on a wooded lane, but something causes it to stop and its driver to investigate what’s really going on among the trees. With a flashlight in hand, he spots a figure – a witch is brewing up spells. Should he get back in his car or confront her?
