Warhammer 40K: Goatboy’s 2025 Christmas Wish List
Goatboy here and next week is Xmas – here’s my the wish list of Grimdark things I want to see or experience in 2026.
It’s the time of the year where I get some time to build models, eat too much food, and get some time with the family. This year I want to go thru the wish list of things I want to see or experience next year. It is a whole new year and maybe I will play a new army if I happen to get it all painted in the next two weeks. Enough nonsense let’s get onto the list.
5. Go to More 40K Events – Including Local Ones!
I really need to practice more this coming year and I hope to make a few more local RTTs to help facilitate that. This is especially true if I am switching to a different red colored army. I enjoy the chance to meet new people and just getting a few games of dice battles will help solidify me into that winning more than losing bracket I always strive for. It will also let me see some other lists to talk about and just try to have more fun. Right now on the big events I have Adepticon, LVTT, LSO, and hopefully a GW event or two.
4. Draw More Stickers I Can Get Printed Out
If you haven’t seen me at an event I usually have a pile of stickers. There are a few sites that let me print smaller batches for not a ton of money so I try to print them out every few months. I have a huge pile of them that I carry in a bag like some kind of sticker pusher so come find me and grab one or two. This also means I should update more objectives at the FLG Store for those interested in having a unique objective to fight over.
3. Build and Paint another Daemon Prince
If you have known me for a while I have a lot of Daemon Princes. I have made so many and you have to ask why would I make another one? Well I am planning on playing Emperor’s Children sometime next year and I only have two converted ones for the army and need three. I got an idea for one and just need to go about building it off of the new amazing Daemon Prince kit. I will hopefully have it build it in the next two weeks if I can find all the bits my brain is working on.
2. My Favorite Faction (surprise, it’s Chaos) Gets Some New Minis
All the rumors are point to a new year of Chaos and I am so stoked. It has been a weird year when I really didn’t invest in building something new. I just patched some holes in my armies, played the same thing for a while, and then waited for inspiration. I am hoping we see some really neat stuff with the incoming Raptors and I hope some awesome new stuff that sparks my creativity.
1. I Want a New Primarch – Good or Evil
My biggest wish is a new Primarch to help push the story forward a bit more. I love the idea of these flawed super heroes coming to rescue this broken system that is 40K. I would love to see a Daemonic Primarch as well. I just find the idea of really cool centerpiece models showing up and doing neat stuff to be awesome. I know we only got a few to pick from but just about any of them would make for a really unique story push that should help bring in the new year. Or if we are lucky a new update to our current favorite system.
