This week’s Kickstarter Roundup includes Fizzwip’s second volume of curiosities, whodunit mysteries for you to solve, and much more.

Night of Veshra

One of your party members is being targeted, but who? And why? This short adventure is a mystery that players will have to think through and solve. And most importantly, be careful doing it. One of you has a target on their back.

The party is unexpectedly attacked by a creature that no one recognizes, and it is intent on eliminating one of the party members. The party manages to fight it off, but clues left behind suggest that the party member has been targeted for assassination. But by who? The party will have to uncover clues, and prepare themselves for when this mysterious assassin returns.

This one-shot can be placed in almost any setting. We even recommend using this when the party is in the middle of a campaign or adventure already in progress, adding to the challenge. This is designed to be played by a party between levels 8-10 and can be played in one (or multiple if you choose to spread it out) session.

Faction Codex: Flayers

Bandits in D&D are usually a pretty minor problem. They’re somewhere between an annoyance and a plot point. But with Flayers, they are about to become a big problem. Inspired by the Ecorcheurs, mercenaries from medieval France, these new-and-improved D&D bandits aren’t just for first-level adventurers anymore.

Flayers is a 5E supplement that redefines brigands into a relentless empire. Led by the disgraced commander Alvare de Morness, they rule through fear and methoidical violence. They do not merely ambush; they hollow out villages, endorce silenve, and reshape entire regions. Whether for gritty low-fantasy or high magic, the Flayers carve their mark with skin and fire.

No more generic encounters. These bandits will change your world.

The Nancy Drew RPG

I grew up reading Nancy Drew books, and this game brings the whodunit mysteries to your table for you to solve. Who is the victim? What happened? How did it happen? And, of course, who is responsible!?

Nancy Drew – the world’s favorite girl detective – is now in her own roleplaying game, from the designer of The Hardy Boys RPG! Now you too can uncover mysteries, help your friends, and catch criminals in this cozy solo mystery/puzzle RPG.

Play as Nancy Drew. Explore River Heights and its surroundings in this action-packed game inspired by the classic 1930s novels. Follow the trail of clues, meet her father Carson Drew, her friend Helen Corning, and make new friends, solve their problems, and rescue them from nefarious villains – and collect souvenirs for your mantle after each of your mysteries.

Arborea: Expanded Universe

Whether you’ve played Arborea before or you’re interested in jumping in now for the first time, this Kickstarter has all of the books you’ll need. It includes game reprints, original art, lore, and expansions. Remove corruption from your creatures and ecosystem, and make offerings to the portal to get your collection of unique and majestic creatures back to their homes.

This new kickstartrer campaign features a whole new array of content in the world of Arborea. Including the exclusive “Corruption Expansion”, “Arborea Rewild,” a new standalone title for 1-2 players, and the gorgeous “Arborea Art and Lore Book.”

Fizzwip’s Treasury of Absurd Curiosities, Volume 2

This is a system-agnostic approach to Fizzwip and all of his curious curios. What strange items will you find? What truly bizarre trinkets does he have to offer? There’s only one way to peruse his wares.

Volume 2: Curios & Containers Smaller Items. Bigger Problems. While weapons and armor announce themselves, curios and containers operate quietly and far more dangerously. These are the objects adventurers underestimate: the trinkets tossed into pockets, the containers opened without thought, the items that seem harmless until they redefine the situation entirely. Fizzwip has collected these pieces for centuries, knowing full well that the smallest magic often causes the biggest complications.
