“Crash Fasta!!!” – ‘Dawn Of War IV’s New Trailer Shows Why Orks Is Da Best
In what might be one of the Orkiest new trailers, Dawn of War IV shows off just why Orks are everyone’s favorite space menace in 40K.
How long has it been since we’ve seen an Ork Rokk in action? Whatever your answer, it’s too long. And that’s even if you’ve just watched the new Dawn of War IV Ork trailer. Fortunately, you can remedy this immediately by watching the new trailer or watching it again, as the case may be.
Dawn Of War IV? – More Like Dawn Of Waaagh!!! IV
The trailer opens with an Ork Rokk approaching a Space Marine vessel, opening fire with as much dakka as can be brought to bear. And then, as you might imagine, boarding actions begin.
Here’s the thing, though. Even though this is supposedly the Ork trailer, showing off what the big green menace will be capable of in the new game, I can’t help but suspect it’s secretly a Space Marines trailer. At least for the first part of it.
But even so, we get to see a bit of the Orks in action. They’ve got big shootas, boyz of varying stripes. Of course the Space Marines get to show off too. There’s a big psychic shield and aquillae blast, as well as the Blood Ravens’ stealth in action.
What seals the deal for me, though, is watching Gore Gutz in action. Not only in his Big Mek armor, which, sure, is pretty cool. But it’s what happens after he teleports back to the “control room” of the Rokk and is told they’re gonna crash into the planet…
Yelling “CRASH FASTA” and then pressing the crash fasta button is about as Orky as it gets. Hopefully the gameplay in this one is enough to win back fans after the more Moba-inspired Dawn of War III.
But with Dawn of War IV AND Total War: Warhammer 40K in the works, it seems like 40K strategy fans will be eating good in 2026.
Of course if they really wanted to crash fasta that button should’ve deployed red paint all over the rokk!
