Games Workshop Rumor Engine: Cable of Doom
Well, I don’t know that it’s NOT a Cable of Doom. Time to take a look at the first Rumor Engine of the year to find out.
I really feel like we just did this whole “New Years” thing. But after checking the date, nope, it’s been a year. Man, time flies…Anyhow, before I have an existential breakdown about time and life let’s get to the Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. This one is a cable. Or wires. Whatever it is, this image is all about making a connection.
It’s the first Rumour Engine of the new year, so we’re starting how we mean to go on: with a completely inscrutable image that could be anything. Good luck guessing who or what this cable or piping belongs to!
Rumor Engine – Cable of Doom
Alright! So what are we looking at exactly? Well, it’s some kind of cable or piping according the the text. And it’s got a rung that’s attached to it as well. I’m thinking something from chaos but I’m open to having my mind changed.
Eh, maybe it’s not from Chaos. It looks relatively well made without any damage and there’s not really any spikes on the cable. Perhaps it’s something from the Adeptus Mechanicus?
Hmm…close? Perhaps. This one is kind of a tough one. The ribbing in the cable is spaced weird. That said, I’m pretty sure this is firmly in the realm of 40k and not the Mortal Realms.
I don’t think it’s a Necron thing however. While they do have cabling, their is more …sleek? The rung that is holding the cable up doesn’t look like the handiwork of the Necrons to me.
