Go Into The Upside Down With These ‘Stranger Things’ Games
Go back to Hawkins and explore the Upside Down without the trouble of monsters destroying your house with these Stranger Things games.
Stranger Things is finally over… Or is it?! But whether you’re still sitting with your feelings, ready for a rewatch, or just want to move on to something a little different but still a little spooky, these Stranger Things games will take you back to the Upside Down time after time.
Hellfire Club D&D Adventure
Stranger Things has always associated itself with D&D and focused on characters who play and love the game. And this set will let you play through some of their adventures for yourself. This collection is good for experienced TTRPGers, but people looking to dip their toe into adventuring can also feel right at home since everything you could ever need is included. From character sheets, dice, monsters, items, spell cards, handouts, four full adventures, and a DM screen, this may be the perfect entry point for someone who isn’t sure if D&D is for them or not.
Shadow of Hawkins
One of my favorite aspects of Stranger Things is the mystery-solving. It’s watching the story come together over time as the audience and characters both focus on the tiniest of clues and understand just how weird everything is. This is a game that will ask you to unpack a mystery and pore over clues for the minutiae. Investigate, explore, and figure out what’s happening in Hawkins this time.
Stranger Things Top Trumps Card Game

Big board games are great, but sometimes you need a quick card game. Top Trumps will have you strategically putting your favorite Stranger Things characters toe to toe. It’s the kind of game that can slip into your bag for travel, and one that you can play through quickly, or for hours at a time.
And of course, the quiz game. If you watched Stranger Things multiple times, waiting for the final season, you may have a borderline encyclopedic memory of what happens. Challenge yourself and your friends to a quiz game to see who really knows Hawkins and the Upside Down best.
Arcade Cabinets Desk Caddy
This isn’t a game, but it’s one of those little accessories that I saw and immediately loved. Old arcade cabinets always feel very 80s and nostalgic to me. And while this one isn’t playable, it helps with one of my other favorite things – organization. This is a little arcade-game-shaped desk cady. So all of those pens and pencils that you’ll need for all of those D&D notes that you definitely take will have a place to live.
1,000 Piece Puzzle
Puzzles are a love-or-hate pastime. Personally, I find them to be the wrong kind of slow and frustrating (while crochet is the right kind of slow and frustrating, don’t try to make it make sense). But people who are into puzzles can turn a collection of randomly shaped colors into incredible images like magic. The art on this Stranger Things puzzle feels a little comic-bookish and fun while having tons of on-brand spooky elements running through it.
Stranger Things Sticker Pack
54 stickers you can put on your game journal, back-pack, dungeon master’s screen, day planner, laptop, water bottle, protein shaker bottle, dice tray, dice tower, (not your dice, that wouldn’t work), PC case, video game console, filing cabinet, bathroom mirror, phone, palm pilot, lunchbox, bento box, a box, almost wherever you want (please don’t stick them on your pets or other people withouth their permission) to show your love of the show.
You can give them out as rewards/treasure during your D&D games. See? Gaming related.
Horrified D&D
Choose a hero – wizard, rogue, fighter, cleric, or bard – and work together to battle monsters and solve puzzle-like obstacles while you protect innocent bystanders. Each monster offers unique challenges based on their counterparts in the RPG. Uses a D20 instead of the usual handful of D6 dice.
It’s a Stranger Things game if you put the stickers on the hero pieces.
