The new Kill Team: Shadowhunt is up for pre-order this weekend and we’ve got a look at the two new teams up close!

There’s no hiding it now because the Shadowhunt is about to start! This new Kill Team box is bringing in two new teams with the Celestian Insidiants and the Murderwing. Or if you’re not sure which team is which, it’s the Adepta Sororitas vs the Chaos Raptors. Fancy names aside, these both look fantastic. Each team is highly customizable with plenty of bits to go around.

So with that in mind let’s take a look at these Kill Teams up close! We have Goatboy to thank for the builds and a a special treat from him as well.

As you can see above there’s loads of details on these miniatures. I know they each are technically different specialists, too. You can see all their proper names here if you want. The Reliquarius, Denucia, Mortisanctus, Censor, and Abjuror are designated by their wargear. The Cremators carry hand flamers while the Warriors carry hand crossbows. And I’m pretty sure the Superior is the one with the melta weapon.

That said, there’s loads of ways to customize these miniatures with the various bits. As a Kill Team, you’re kind of encouraged to customize them anyhow. I think it adds some character! And these ladies are packing loads of character.

The other Kill Team in the box is the Chaos Space Marine Raptor based Murderwing. While the team itself looks like Raptors, the kit can technically also be built as Warptalons. It’s essentially the same kit but with an extra model that’s the Chaos Lord that’s already been released. I still really like this kit for what it is though. The Raptors look brutal and I really like their chaos jump packs.

As for that special treat from Goatboy, he actually painted the Kill Team up. So check out his work below:
