Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: Dark Angels – Anti-C’tan Tech
Here is a new winning 40K tournament Dark Angels army list built to crush these C’tan star gods wrecking the tabletop.
A mixture of powerful punching units, an high damage anti star god shooting option, and just powerful utility will help control some of these rampaging monsters on the table top. I hate playing against Dark Angels but I always respect how powerful the army can be as well as just utilizing some of the cooler Terminators on the table top.
Pajak won a 74 player event this past weekend in Poland with this Dark Angel Anti-C’tan teched list. It utilized 2 Deathwing Knight bricks with attached Terminator Chaplains to create an always 4+ FNP versus mortal wound as well as just tough bricks to deal with. They also get a +1 to wound when they get mixed into combat which can just help push damage into the enemy. On top of this they had an Eradictor unit built to just delete any C’tan they see on the table top. They also had a 3rd assault brick with Azrael and his Inner Circle friends that love to get mixed into combat.
Check out the list and see how this is a good idea to bring to an event. There are a ton of C’tan coming out as players can easily play the list and love pushing giant jerks into your face. I know as a player that loves giant models it is a list that I would play if I enjoyed throwing down with Necrons.

Dark Angels Anti-C’tan Tech Tactics
I love all the extra utility in the Scout squad and extra scoring options in the army. It lets your bricks do what they need to do and all the other things can go around and score objectives or bring the monsters into an area that lets you wreck them with your murder units. I have a strange love of Dark Angels and even though I have really moved away from playing “good guys” it is one of the armies I do enjoy painting.
