Let’s put together a Huron Blackheart Renegade Warband CSM armylist and see what kind of fun we can get out of the new 40K rules!

I am not going to lie to you – that new CSM army seems pretty neat.  The Renegade Warband feels very powerful and while it is attached to a codex that seems to be a bit long in the tooth – it might have enough bite to win you some games.  Let’s put together a Huron list and see what kind of MSU Bully nonsense we can build out utilizing these new rules.

The detachment is nicknamed Gladius with Spikes and it feels like a pretty good comparison.  The CSM army isn’t an Ultramarine army but maybe it has enough to get the job done.  I think the big push in all this is how to utilize all the parts to create something that can punch up and survive the slap back a bit.  We’ll start at the top with Huron and his Masters of the Maelstrom.

Huron’s Renegade Warband Tactics

This is a pretty simple MSU army with a ton of bodies, a bunch of options, and hopefully enough power to chew through things as needed.  You can stack the Rhino holdings by utilizing different options to hold your models and move up the table.  It has a lot of options to play and I am sure I will rearrange the list, adding and dropping things as needed – like do I need all those Raiders and do I need another Noise Marine option?  What about a unit of Plague Marines that would love to Advance and Charge.  There is a lot to look at with CSM as there are so many options to play with!
