This week’s Kickstarter roundup includes a pun-based TTRPG, new Final Girl expansions, Deadlands 30th Anniversary edition, and much more!

For The Gods!

Bring ancient civilization and mythology to your table with For the Gods! Players will traverse the map, building monuments and trying to earn their God’s good favor. And if they really like you, maybe you’ll be able to unleash some of their divine powers.

As a seafaring builder in ancient Greece, in For the Gods! you’ll navigate the archipelago, constructing towering monuments to the gods and vying for control of sacred islands.

For the Gods! is a tactical area majority game in which every stone shapes your path to victory. The rules are simple: Sail the seas to establish new temples or elevate existing ones. Along the way, collect God stones and unleash their divine powers at the right moment. With twelve unique God powers, each game offers fresh strategies and dynamic gameplay, ensuring high variability.

Final Girl Series 4

The massively popular Final Girl series is back with another set of Feature Films. These adventures include Raptors on Isla Lagarto, the predatory Volk’ar, Berith, the Fallen Angel, Grimlash at Shady Acres, and the animatronic Billy the Bear.

The Core Box, when combined with one of our Feature Film boxes, has everything you need to play the game. Each Feature Film box contains a unique killer and an iconic location. And the more Feature Films you have, the more killer/location combinations you can experience!

Deadlands 30th Anniversary

Deadlands has been bringing players to the wild west for three decades. And this 30th anniversary Kickstarter is a ‘weird west’ celebration. The anniversary book includes the entire history of the game, including behind-the-scenes stories, all of their projects, and a sneak peek of what’s next.

Deadlands: The Weird West™ launched at the Gen Con game convention in 1996, THIRTY years ago! Since then we’ve created books, miniatures, novels, comics, card games, and even four spinoffs—Hell on Earth, Lost Colony, Noir, and now Dark Ages! We’ve even been at the finish line for a television / streaming series or feature film more than half a dozen times (and still working on it!).

Ariadne’s Book of Legends

Have you ever hit level 20 with your D&D character, but weren’t ready for them to retire peacefully from the adventuring business? This book will let you continue their adventure for five more levels. Included are new monsters, spells, and techniques.

In a normal game, you would retire the hero to a life of glory, for D&D lacks engaging high-level content. You might never even have reached these heights, fearing the balancing nightmare that are the final levels of our dearest RPG. There are no bosses that can stand against a party this powerful, nor any further milestones to reach… Well, we come to fix just that!

Reach 25th level with any class, fight storied monsters that go beyond CR 30, and personalize your legend with heroic paths, 10th-level spells, and mythical martial techniques. Ariadne’s Book of Legends brings you everything you need to level up your table to its final form!

Punderworld

Wouldn’t it be fun if the bad jokes and puns you told at the table could be used as weapons against the bad guys and not just your fellow players? In Punderworld, your words (and puns) have power. Wordplay is a force that you can harness in the name of whimsy and fun.

Almost anywhere there is the recorded word, there is a dot. It might be an extra period, pen mark, tanween, or stray scratch on a wax tablet, but rest assured, it is there. You won’t find it if you go looking, but you just might catch it out of the corner of your eye, winking back at you. Be careful – this is a doorway, and if you get too lost in a book, too absorbed in a story, you might end up…somewhere else. Two realms, two sides of the same coin, hanging suspended in the unending void of the Lands Unwritten.
