The newest addition to the Botanicals line lets you create colorful wall displays packed with blooms in a multitude of ways.

LEGO is taking cues from the MOC community with this new set meant for wall display. Brick-built flower arrangements, like these created by Holly Bradshaw aka Ponygirl Brix, have been around for a bit. The MOCs range from oversized bouquets to floral weaths and garlands to displays several feet across.

The company incorprated the style into photo walls at botanical themed pop-ups last year… and now you can get your own (easier to build and source) version.

Flower Wall (11503)

The set features 2 big camellias, 3 small camellias, 2 clematis, 3 ranunculus, 2 red roses, 1 hydrangea, 3 cornflowers, 2 mimosa branches, 2 waxflower branches, plus 2 big leaves that you can arrange on the wall in any combination. It looks like the flowers are connected using a variety of Technic pieces. The trellis system can be built in multiple shapes and combined with more sets for larger displays.

Want more vibrant blooms (it’s not too late to pick up something for Valentine’s Day)? Here are the latest Botanicals sets, plus bouquets of all sizes and potted plants that are on sale.

Tulip Bouquet (11501)

Bring some color to the grey days of winter with this bouquet that features five varieties of tulips in various stages of bloom. The set includes vibrant green buds, purple closed tulips, plus red, yellow, pink, and orange open blooms. Complete the stems with green leaves.

Peace Lily (11504)

These serene lilies are just the thing to bring some calm to your space. The set features lilies in three stages of life: from two delicate buds and two partially opened blooms to two flowers in full blossom. Like the original Bonsai tree, it utilizes existing LEGO pieces – including a recolored carrot for the spadix and a popcorn element crowning the fully opened flower. The plant’s green, brick-built foliage spills over a peach-coloured pot for a complete display.

Daisies (11508)

This cheerful bunch includes three large daisies, two stems of smaller daisies, three lavenders, and bright green stems. A ladybug is nestled among the flowers. It’s great for gifting on any occasion and can be mixed with other LEGO bouquet sets to create something truly unique.

Flowering Cactus (11509)

This set was created with younger builders in mind, but it’s also a great build-in-one-sitting option for grown-ups. This set of prickly barrel cactus is a realistic dusty green and boasts pink and yellow blooms. Once built, they sit in a light blue pot and will make a great addition to or a start of a LEGO succulent collection.

Build a Custom Bouquet

LEGO bouquet sets can be combined in any mix you’d like and in nearly any way you’d like. I’ve seen massive bunches in LEGO storage head vases, garlands featuring tons of flowers, and bloom packed peices meant to hang on walls. There are tons of ways to create the perfect mix – however large or small – to bring some cheer you don’t have to worry about watering to your space.

Must Have Botanicals Sets On Sale

Prefer something that comes in its own container? These brick-built potted plants are on sale right now – including orchids, bamboo, and the classic bonsai tree with the cleverly re-used frogs.
