Take Your D&D Adventures To The Stars With These Space Dice
This week, we’re making our D&D adventures into galactic adventures and exploring the stars with these space dice.
Project Hail Mary, one of my favorite space books of all time, was recently released as a space movie. I haven’t been able to get myself to the movie theater yet! Sometimes finding free time is hard. But in the meantime, I’ll gaze longingly at the stars outside and the stars in these dice and think about fictional space ships that I would never willingly get into in real life. But in fantasy settings, those adventures look like a lot of fun, and these dice look beautiful!
NASA Apollo Inspired Dice
Quickly looking at these dice, there’s a nice simplicity to them. But when you start really looking at the details, there are so many cool little touches. These NASA-inspired dice are a shimmering white with black detailing, including planets, stars, the moon, landers, and even the year that NASA was created. These dice are so nerdy and so jam-packed with imagery and details, and if I don’t get a set for myself, I may need to get a set for my dad.
UFO Dice Set
At first glance I saw the various parts of this dice stack and thought, “It looks like it should form the Enterprise.” And while I wasn’t right at all, it turns out I wasn’t that far off either. Each piece of this collection looks like another piece of fictional space-tech from UFOs to sci-fi rockets to futuristic reactors. Dice that don’t look like dice are always a fun, immersive addition to your TTRPG. And I have never seen a set quite like this one before.
Galaxy Dice
If you’re looking for simple, classic galaxy dice, look no further. The purple and blue shimmer swirls look like photos of far-off galaxies. And the white numbers on the dice is bright and easy to read. Over the top and stylized dice can be fun and cool. But some of us just want a simple, readable set of dice to roll. And these galaxy dice are that and they’re pretty.
Galaxy D6
Many TTRPGs just need a couple of D6, and for those, I like to have a nice set of D6 kicking around. This set comes with 36 dice in a very pretty blue-and-purple nebula design. But it also comes in a black and white moon rock-inspired set, as well as a purple and green Neptune-inspired 12-pack.
Dark Star Dice
If you’re looking for space-inspired ice, there are many with a very similar look to this. Personally, I thought that these were the prettiest, but it was by a very thin margin, so definitely look around for yourself. The dark blue sparkles floating in the dice’s resin look like far-off galaxies. The effect is simple but so pretty, while the gold numbers make the dice feel even more elevated.
