Warhammer 40K: The Unbeatable List – Adepticon 2026: Ultramarines Win It All!
The 40K champ is here and the new boogie man of the competitive scene has reared its head. Take a look at Adepticon 2026’s winner!
Conan Jennings does it again and wins Adepticon with a tweaked version of his Ultramarines shooting heavy list – this time with a Blades of Ultramar variant. The updated and blue tinged version of Gladius – the Blades of Ultramar can create a very devastating shooting list. Of course the Ultramarines are also very punchy too so it creates a one-two punch of a list.
As you can see the list has a lot of things from last years least – with the shooting elements of Repulsors and Ballistus but it also adds some very punchy units in the Victrix Guard and Guardians of Ultramar. The Guardians are a huge pile of wounds that are very cheap and are very good at holding points. It is a big footprint to deal with. The army really just likes to hold that middle, shoot you a ton, and wreck your face.

Adepticon 2026 Winner – Conan Jennings – Ultramarines Blade of Ultramar Tactics & Thoughts
Amazing job by Conan for repeating the win and surviving through 9 rounds of Warhammer 40K with the Space Marines list. He took out Brian Daugherty in the finals with his own spin on Chaos Space Marines utilizing his own version of punchy shooting and tough units to hold the middle. It is a pretty amazing job for all the players as a lot of them played the Teams event Saturday as well which is a whole pile of games to play.
I ended up dropping from Champs due to my foot hurting from being broken. The swap from hot to cold on it and trying to walk the halls made for a long weekend for the busted up Goatboy. I showed people how much metal I got my in hooves now to might have gotten some sympathy.
