Make Every Roll Feel Like Magic With Gemstone Dice
We all love rolling some math rocks. But what some math rocks are made out of or made to look like your favorite gemstone?
At the risk of aging myself, do you remember those stone bead bracelets that were supposed to represent different attributes or bring you luck? They were huge when I was in junior high, and while I don’t think I ever believed they were ever giving me extra confidence or luck, any kid who had a rock collection knows that there’s just something about a pretty stone. Maybe these dice will bring your characters extra strength or charisma. But even if they don’t, they’ll be pretty neat to roll during your next adventure.
Tiger Eye Dice
I’m not sure if I’ve always really like tiger eye, or if it was just one of the first pieces of my childhood rock collection that I could easily recognize. But the design and color of this stone is always very pretty. The gold numbering matches so well that it feels like it could be part of the stone itself, but is still very easy to read. All in all, this is just a very nice set of dice to look at.
Fluorite Dice
Despite all being fluorite, these dice are all slightly different in shade and color. And I think that uniqueness and variation is so pretty. There are so many shifts in the blues and purples that the dice feel more natural than a more standardized set. And gold numbers always make gemstone dice look even prettier.
Marble Dice
The marble effect on these dice is very simple and very pretty. From far away, they look like plain white dice, which on its own is a bad-looking dice set. But when you get up close, you can see the swirls of tan, yellow, and green.
Geode Dice
This set isn’t made of any gemstone, or even designed to look like any. But they immediately reminded me of a cut open geode. These dice come in a bunch of different colors. So you have a variety of choices in the base color, as well as the colorful inner stone color. And even one set that has a rainbow of colors in the middle.

Very similar to the marble dice, but also very different, I love these opal dice. They have a shine that feels a little mirrored, and a little iridescent, and is all captivatingly beautiful. If you’re playing a casting class character, these dice definitely have a magical feeling quality. But even if you’re not, these will be a focus at your table and hopefully always make you happy to roll.
Malachite Dice
Malachite comes in a distinctive shade of green with a stripe pattern I’d recognize anywhere. These dice boast being made of natural gemstones, so you can see the natural texture in the light. And there are few stones that show off their natural texture better than malachite.
