Star Wars: Legion – Sun Fac & Poggle the Lesser Unboxed & Up Close
The Geonosians are in the house today for Star Wars: Legion. It’s Sun Fac and Poggle the Lesser up close.
We’ve got the reboxed version of these two high ranking Geonosians for Star Wars: Legion to look at today. Thanks to Atomic Mass Games for sending these out to review. I did get a chance to build them so let’s take a look inside and up close at Sun Fac and Poggle the Lesser!
This one is for all you Separatist Alliance fans out there. It’s a returning Commander and Separatist Operative for you to run!
Sun Fac & Poggle the Lesser Unboxing
So again, this is a rebox of a previous pack so most of this stuff is relatively the same. The cards are different because of the update but the miniatures are hard plastics. It comes in the standard AMG packing as you can see above. That really just means baggies for all the goodies.
Card-wise these are the updated versions for Poggle the Lesser as the Commander and Sun Fac. You should have updated points, art, and formatting across the board here.
As far as the sprues, those should be unchanged.
It’s a single sprue for both miniatures and as far as I can tell this is the same setup as the previous packaging. You get the tokens and the two bases for the miniatures. I managed to assemble these two miniatures pretty fast. But I still have some tips on that front.
Sun Fac & Poggle the Lesser Up Close
Overall, these went together pretty easily. I will say gluing the wings on last might be a better idea that what I did. Having them attached to the back early made handling them for the rest of the build a little tricky.
Sun Fac’s arms were kind of trippy. His right arm is already attached to the torso but the right forearm isn’t. The bits connect at the elbow and it’s a tiny connection! I was not expecting that. The left hand is attached to the gun as well. So I glued in the left arm into the socket and then used the left arm to help stabilize the gun/right forearm in place. Honestly, it went together pretty smooth once I had the left arm in. And yes, I do have a bit of sprue I need to clean off the arm…But I want to let that set properly before I start cleaning that off.
As far as Poggle the Lesser, this was a really easy and fast build. If I had to build him again, I’d probably do the torso, then the legs. With the arms and wings in the way, getting the bits positioned correctly for the legs were a little tricky. But that’s really it. Oh and put the wings on last for sure.
