Warhammer 40K: Grot Week Day 4 – Grenade Grot
We’ve got a grot carrying a grenade for Grot Week Day 4. I don’t know if we should we worried for ourselves or the grot.
The Gretchin are back once again for Grot Week Day 4. I guess we should have expected that. This time around the Grot has a stikkbomb and I think we should all be concerned.
I almost feel bad for the Gretchin in the Ork army. Almost. I just hope he doesn’t blow himself up with that stikkbomb…but I also wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end either.
Look out, he’s got a grenade! Grots are usually given all the rubbish jobs, from mine clearing to soaking up enemy fire – sadly for them, they excel at both! They’re also good at lootin’ the battlefield – this one “found” a stikkbomb.*
Grot Week Day 4: Grenade Grot
So once again we’ve got “just another Grot” from Games Workshop. I do like the pose and all though. Once again the paint job is really doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. I’m impressed with the triangle paintjob on the chin strap. That’s an attention to detail I know the majority of players are just going to skip. That’s going to get a coat of Mournfang Brown if this guy is lucky!
I’m also wondering where all these Grots got their gear from. I know they loot their own weapons and “armor” from the battlefield. But where did they get all those Pickelhaube helmets from? Did they raid a WWI surplus store? And if so, how was that store around 38,000 years?!
ANYHOW, this marks the reveal for Day 4 of Grot Week. From the sound of things we’re just going to get another Gretchin reveal for Day 5. My hopes of a Killa Kan reveal are quickly dwindling…
Mark your sheet with a new stamp. It’s time to move on and wait for Day 5.
