Warhammer 40K: New Ork Weirdboy Miniature Revealed
Games Workshop is showing off the new Ork Weirdboy coming with the Armageddon box and this new miniature is packing ALL the cables.
The new Ork Weirdboy is ready to make a connection. At least that’s what I’m gathering from all the cable connectors that are attached to this one. The miniature is coming in the upcoming Armageddon boxed set and I’m starting to think this Weirdboy was pulled right out of the engine room.
So great is the power surging from their minds that Weirdboyz are as much a hazard to themselves and those around them as they are to the enemy. Some are fitted with crude devices and given special staves that – allegedly – help control their abilities, though whether they function as intended is secondary to how flashy they look.
New Ork Weirdboy From Armageddon
I know that Ork Weirdboys are “plugged in” when it comes to channeling the WAAAGH! and all but I didn’t think it was this literal. Seriously this Weirdboy already looks like it’s brain has all sorts of wires crossed but now those wires are coming of out of his back and collar. Did this Ork get drunk and walk through a power plant surplus store? I think he might be the battery in this case.
I’m not an electrician but even I recognize a lot of the connectors and adaptors here. Considering what we know about Orks and Weirdboys in particular, I’m willing to bet this guy has been juicing on pure WAAAGH! power for a bit. I really hope he doesn’t pop…
This new miniature is pictured right before unleashing a psychic blast, eyes bulging as lightning crackles from its brain to the skull-topped staff in their hands.

Oh. Well, yeah…that explains that! You might not want to stand in front of this guy. That’s a great way to get covered in green lightning. Or worse.
Anyhow, I think this one is over-the-top and downright zany. Which is kind of what I expect from Ork Weirdboys anyhow! I think this “about to burst” WAAAGH! battery is going to be a perfect fit in the new Ork miniatures coming to the tabletop.
Does WAAAGH! smell like Ozone? I bet it definitely smells like burning afterwards.
