Warhammer Survivors: First Look At The New Characters
Warhammer Survivors showcases new Characters, attacks, and a Extremis Boss coming to battle in the digital version of Armageddon!
I’ve sunk a lot of hours into Vampire Survivors. While it might be a bit of an acquired taste I quite enjoy the mindless gameplay of destroying endless hordes of baddies. We covered the announcement of the game but now we’ve got a first look at a few of the characters coming.
In Warhammer Survivors, you’ll face off against swarms of relentless foes, earning experience to gain new weapons and power-ups so that you can become a screen-clearing, death-dealing avatar of fury.
Character First Look – Warhammer Survivors
First up, we knew that Malum Caedo would be returning to the Digital Front in this game. He’s the’s Space Marine from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun in case you haven’t played that one.
He’s going to be joined by a roster full of heroes from the Imperium. You might recognize more than a few of these…
That’s not any old Space Marine Chaplain. That’s Salamanders Chaplin Fo’Baran!
Another legend of the tabletop (and Catachan lore) is coming. I’m pretty sure we’ve got a Sly Marbo sighting…but you never can tell!
In case you needed a BIG name, we’ve got the Chapter Master of the Ultramarines himself: Marneus Calgar! He’s clearly still using his Gauntlets of Ultramar, too!
What better way to steamroll the enemies of the Imperium thank in a Leman Russ tank? And who better to lead that charge than Knight-Commander Pask!
And finally, we can’t go to Armageddon with out Ol’Bale Eye himself, right? It’s Commissar Yarrick facing off against an Extremis Boss who’s none other than Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka.
Now, if you look closely at those screenshots and watch the video you can also see some of the weapons you’ll be acquiring on your mission to defend the Imperium. But I think other main thing to note is that we’ve got an ORK Invasion to fight off! Now, some folks might recall that the initial reveal had Tyranid enemies instead of Orks. Well I guess the Orks didn’t want to miss a good krumpin’ so they are joining in now, too.
“Don’t forget, it’s not just Warhammer 40,000 icons that you can send off into battle. You’ll be able to head off into the Mortal Realms too, and lead Warhammer Age of Sigmar characters like Neave Blacktalon,** Gotrek Gurnisson, and Sharynn Azurwrath, a Stormcast Eternals Vanquisher, in combat against swarms of Skaven.”
I say bring’em all on! There’s going to be plenty of Warhammer Survivor’ing to go around!
